February 28, 2014: A private security guard in Florida was hit by a vehicle and injured. The private security guard was working in a security guard building for a gated neighborhood. A woman tried to enter the gated community in the early morning hours on Tuesday. The private security guard asked the woman for her drivers license and she told him it was inside a home in the neighborhood. The private security guard went into the security building and called the home and someone was going to bring the woman's drivers license to the private security guard. When the security guard stepped out of the security building to tell the woman she didn't want to wait and hit the private security guard with her vehicle and got thru the gate and then got out of her car and started yelling and cursing at the private security guard. The private security guard was able to contact the police and they came and arrested the woman. The private security guard did not need medical attention but did complain to the police officer's that his back and knees were sore.
A private security guard in California found two men breaking into a business. The private security guard was working for a local car dealership that was undergoing some remodeling and while on patrol he heard stranger noises coming from inside the building. When the private security guard went to check it out he saw two men trying to steal copper wiring from the dealership. The private security guard contacted the police and the police were able to arrest the two men at the dealership. The private security guard received no injuries.
An on going family feud in Knoxville, TN left a woman injured by a vehicle. The suspect had arrived at the victims home in Knoxville to see the victims daughter whom he has dated. When the suspect arrived the mother confronted him as he drove onto her property and did not allow the suspect in and refused to get out of the way. The victim then started hitting his vehicle with her hands and a piece of wood. Then as the suspect was trying to leave her property struck the victim, knocking her to the ground with his vehicle. The suspect left the scene and the woman called the police. The victim was transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with injuries to her leg. The suspect called 911 from a nearby store to say he was the one who hit the woman and fled the scene. Knoxville police have not yet pressed any charges against the man.
A private security guard in Utah found four men hidden in a snow igloo on campus. The private security guard was on patrol at the college campus when he heard noises and walked over to the area and found a well camouflaged snow igloo with four men inside. The private security guard smelled marijuana and contacted the local police. When the police arrived they were amazed at how well the igloo was constructed and hidden and were surprised that the private security guard was able to find it.
One of our private security guards is very sick. On Guard Security would like to say get well Officer Chapman you are missed and hopefully will feel better soon.

In Nashville a couple has been arrested for stealing over $38,000 in DVDs and video games. Nashville police had used video surveillance from Nashville retailers and records from Nashville pawn shops to be able to identify the Nashville couple. The Nashville couple had stolen the movies and video games from rental machines surrounding the Nashville area for over eight months and then re-sell them. The couple are currently in a Nashville jail.

February 27, 2014: Three private security guards in Ohio were assaulted by one man. The private security guards were working at a local resort when they received a complaint about a man who had been drinking to much and causing a disturbance. One of the private security guards had confronted the man and advised him to stop jumping from one hot tub to another because he would hurt himself. The man refused and hit the private security guard. The man then ran off and tried to hid inside a bathroom, but another security guard went inside to try and get him out and that is when the man head-butted this private security guard. The third private security guard tried to get him into handcuffs but the man head-butted and then punched the private security guard in the nose. Police were called in and they arrested the man. The private security guards were not seriously injured and required no medical treatment.
A private security guard in South Carolina was hit by a suspects vehicle. The private security guard was on post at a clothing store when the security guard spotted a woman putting clothes into a shopping bag without paying. When the private security guard approached the woman she started running out the door and the private security guard ran after her. The woman was able to get into her car and when the private security guard waved at her to stop she just accelerated towards the security guard, hitting him in the leg with her vehicle and the private security guard got thrown onto the hood of the car and fell off. The woman was able to get away and police are still searching for her. There is no information available as to the private security guard and how badly he was injured.
A private security guard in Oklahoma had a gun pointed at him. The private security guard was working his normal post at a local hotel Monday night when the hotel clerk notified the security guard about a man trying to break into a vending machine. The clerk said he was not able to get anything out of the machine. When the private security guard started running after the suspect he ran outside and the security guard followed him. After a short fight between the private security guard and the suspect the man pulled out a gun and pointed it at the private security guard and then ran off. The private security guard was not injured.
A private security guard in New York had his legs crushed by a vehicle. The private security guard was working for a local grocery store and had confronted a woman for stealing sausages from the store. The private security guard followed the woman into the parking lot and tried to stop her as she backed out of a parking spot. The suspects car knocked the private security guard down to the ground and then she ran over both of the private security guards leg before driving away. The private security guard was taken to an area hospital for injuries to his legs and hand.
A man in Nashville is currently in a Nashville jail for killing his friend. The suspect was visiting his friend when an argument broke out. The victim ended up throwing a brick into the suspects car while the suspect was inside. The man became even angrier and just got out and stabbed his friend in the chest and neck. The Nashville police were called and arrested the suspect. The victim was taken to a Nashville hospital where he later died.

February 25, 2014:A private security guard was shot at by a shoplifter. The private security guard was working for a local retail store when he spotted a teenager stealing items. The private security guard approached the young man and then the young man started running out the front door. The private security guard chased after him and when they got outside the suspect started shooting. Local police were in the area working a traffic stop when they saw the private security guard chasing the suspect and heard the gunshots. Police officers were able to catch the young boy and disarm him. The private security guard was not injured.
An armed private security guard in Illinois was found shot and burned. The private security guard was working security for a local rapper and had been missing for three days. The private security guard was found in a apartment complex early Friday morning. The private security guard was shot and then his body was set on fire. Police are still investigating the private security guards death.
A woman in Knoxville, TN was killed by her own car. The woman had arrived to work at the University of Tennessee and had just parked her vehicle in the parking garage. Knoxville police believe that when she got out of her vehicle she had accidently left her car in neutral and noticed it rolling backwards. The woman tried to stop the car but the vehicle ran her over. When the woman did not show up for work or answer her cell phone her husband came looking for her and found her in the parking garage. She died at the scene.
A private security guard in New York was stabbed to death. The private security guard had gotten into an altercation with a man who the private security guard had detained for breaking into vehicles in a parking lot of a hotel the security guard was patrolling. The private security guard was taken to the hospital but did not survive. The police are still investigating the security guards death and the private security guard company that employed this security guard have not yet made any comments on his death.
A private security guard in Texas was shot during a robbery attempt. The private security guard had just loaded his security vehicle with a bag of money they just picked up when he was attacked by two men. During the attack they shot the private security guard two times. The other private security guard who was in the driver seat fired shots at the suspects and it scared them off. Local police and the FBI are still searching for the suspects. The private security guard is in critical condition at the hospital.
A Nashville man has been arrested after knocking out a soccer referee. The suspect was playing in a soccer match and the referee had ejected one of his fellow players and that angered the man. The Nashville police are saying that the suspect suckered punched the referee and knocked him out for a couple of minutes. The referee nose, lips and face were swollen and the suspect is currently in a Nashville jail.
A Nashville teenager is about to go on trial for the 2012 attack on a local woman. The teenager had broken into the victims home in east Nashville and raped the woman at gunpoint and then stole items and cash from her Nashville home before he left the home on foot. The teenager ended up turning himself in the very next day to the Juvenile Justice Center in Nashville.
A private security guard in Wisconsin was threatened numerous times by the same man. The private security guard was working his normal shift at a local hospital when a man came in with a family member that needed medical attention. The suspect became very disruptive and started threatening the private security guard. The security guard contacted the police and they arrived and gave him a ticket for trespassing and disorderly conduct, the police officer even gave him a ride home. The suspect returned to the hospital a short time later and again threatened the private security guard saying he was going to get his shotgun and kill him. Police were called to the hospital yet again and they escorted him off the hospital property. Now the officers began doing extra patrols and later that night they saw a suspicious vehicle driving without any lights on and then stop in front of the hospital. When they approached the vehicle they found the suspect had returned and this time had his shotgun and numerous shotgun shells. Police this time arrested him. The private security guard was never injured during this incident.

February 24, 2014: A private security guard in Kentucky was approached by two men who tried to rob him. The private security guard was working his normal post at an apartment complex in the early morning hours on Sunday. The two suspects approached the private security guard armed with a gun and demanded money from the private security guard. When the security guard told the suspects he did not have any money the suspects just ran away. Local police are still searching for the suspects and the private security guard was not injured.
A man in Nashville was arrested at a middle school. The man was waiting in the car rider line at the Nashville middle school on Friday waiting to pick up a child. School officials had contacted the Nashville police after they had smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle and the man did not know the name of the child he was supposed to pick up. When the Nashville police arrived they found a marijuana blunt in the mans vehicle and he was arrested. When the Nashville police were taking the suspect to a Nashville jail in their patrol car the suspect became sick because he tried to swallow a bag of crack cocaine while in the police car and he threw it up before he got to the Nashville jail. The suspect is facing charges of tampering with evidence, drug possession, and bringing drugs onto school grounds.
A University of Tennessee football player was shot in Nashville Thursday. The man was on his way to a Nashville restaurant when the intersection he was trying to cross was being blocked by another vehicle. The man decided to drive up on the sidewalk to pass the vehicle that was blocking the road and ended up having words with the driver and that is when he was shot at numerous times. The victim was taken to a Nashville hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to his shoulders and face. Nashville police are still searching for the shooter and the victim is back in Knoxville resting comfortably from his injuries.
Four private security guards in Philadelphia were arrested Sunday night. The private security guards were working for a local nightclub when a man had gotten into an argument with another person inside the club. The private security guards threw the man out of the nightclub. The man though went home for his gun and came back to the nightclub. The private security guards again forced the man out of the club and into the streets and that is when the suspect started shooting at the private security guards. The private security guards shot back and during this gun battle over thirty rounds were exchanged. The suspect ditched his gun and fled the scene in his car. When the police arrived they had disarmed the private security guards and took them in for questioning and in doing this the police found out the private security guards were not licensed to carry guns and they were not even licensed to be private security guards. All four of the security guards were arrested and the suspect showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his knee and he also will be facing multiple charges.
A private security guard in Philadelphia had his weapon taken from him. The armed security guard was working inside a jewelry store when six men came in, two of them armed and started smashing the display cases and grabbing the jewelry. Two of the suspects took the private security guards gun during the robbery and once they had stolen what they wanted they fled the scene in a waiting vehicle. Police officers started pursuing the suspects but lost sight of their vehicle. The police are still investigating and the private security guard was not injured in the robbery.
A private security guard in California was killed while on duty. The armed security guard was in his patrol car and had come across a robbery in progress at a local gas station. The suspect armed with a gun had gone into the gas station and demanded money form the clerks. One of the clerks gave the suspect some money while the other clerk was able to escape the gas station. As the suspect was leaving the store the private security guard had driven up to the store and tried to stop the suspect but the suspect started shooting at the private security guard. The private security guard was never even able to pull out his gun to defend himself. The suspect was able to flee to scene and the private security guard died at the hospital. The police are still reviewing the video surveillance to be able to identify the suspect. The private security guard company that employed the security guard has not yet made any comments on the private security guards death.

A private security guard was attacked on Friday night. The private security guard was working at a local bar when a woman had told him that a man had stolen her purse. When the private security guard approached the man he became combative with the private security guard and ripped his security uniform and tried to punch the security guard. The private security guard then punched the suspect and the face and was able to handcuff him until the police arrived. The suspect was really drunk and even fought with the local police who had to pepper spray the suspect to get him under control. The private security guard suffered minor injuries.

February 23,2014: What a beautiful day it is in Nashville. The sun in shining and the temperature is perfect to be able to go outside and enjoy a walk, run, a bike ride, maybe even a little fishing.
A private security guard in England was robbed at gunpoint. The private security guard was picking up a money bag from a local restaurant and had just started to get into his security van when he was approached by a masked gunman. The gunman pointed his weapon at the private security guard and demanded the money bag, the private security guard gave it to him and the gunman fled the scene in a waiting vehicle. The security guard company says that the gunman never discharged his weapon but that their private security guard was very distraught over the robbery. Local police are still investigating.
A private security guard in Texas was injured on the job. The private security guard was working his normal daytime shift at a local grocery store when he spotted a woman trying to walk out of the store without paying for her grocery items. The private security guard followed her out to her car and as she was putting the grocery bags into her vehicle the private security guard asked her to stop and come back into the store. The woman refused and got into her vehicle and that is when the private security guard went to her trunk which was still open and started removing the bags himself. The woman started backing her vehicle up and the private security guard had to jump on top of the vehicle to avoid being dragged under it. The private security guard was able to hang on for moment but the woman made a sharp turn and the private security guard fell off. Local police are still searching for the woman and the private security guard was treated at the scene for his injuries.
A private security guard was raped while on duty in Florida. The private security guard was on duty patrolling a local parking garage when the suspect came up behind her and covered her mouth and then sexually assaulted her. The assault continued for a little while until another private security guard drove by in his patrol vehicle and that scared the attacker off. The private security guard was able to follow the suspect and held him until the police arrived. The suspect is in jail on charges of kidnapping, sexual battery with deadly force, false imprisonment and battery on a uniformed security officer. The private security guard who was assaulted told the police the suspect just overpowered her and threatened to kill her if she screamed. The private security guard was taken to the hospital for her injuries.
A private security guard in South Carolina had his weapon stolen. The armed security guard was working inside a nightclub when he tried to separate people who were fighting. The private security guard had to use his pepper spray to get the situation under control. After the crowd left the scene the private security guard realized his security guard company firearm was missing from his holster. Local police had arrived in response to a fight at the club and after the fight had broken up, a gun shot was heard. The private security guard did not tell the police until twenty minutes after they had arrived that his gun was missing. Officers helped the private security guard search the area for his weapon, but they never found it. Local police believe the gun shot that was heard came from the missing private security guards weapon. No one was hurt by the gun shot. The private security guard company that employees this security officer have not yet made any comments regarding this incident.

February 21, 2014: A private security guard in Florida has to shoot a man. The private security guard was working at a local supermarket when a man came inside with a machete and started threatening customers. The suspect wacked a woman with the blade of the machete and when the armed private security guard tried to stop him he hit the private security guard in the head. Even though the private security guard was injured he was able to shoot the suspect several times. The suspect was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition. The private security guard was also sent to the hospital with minor injuries.
In Knoxville, Tennessee a car was stolen at a gas station with a four month old baby inside. Knoxville police say that the mother had left the infant in her vehicle with it running while she went inside the store. Once the mother was inside another car pulled into the parking lot and a male suspect got out and walked to the mother's car and just got in and took off. The whole incident was caught on video surveillance. Later that morning a concerned person called 911 to say they saw the car in a parking lot at a fast food restaurant with a baby inside. Knoxville police arrived and discovered it was the missing infant and the child was taken to a hospital but was alright and returned to it's mother. Knoxville police are still searching for the suspects and the Department of Children's Services is also going to be investigating. The mother could face charges of child neglect or endangerment. The Knoxville police department do not think the mother and the carjacker knew each other.
A private security guard in Canada was shot. The private security guard was working for a local restaurant/bar when he had asked several men to leave after they caused a disturbance. The men did leave the restaurant/bar but they ended up returning and had pulled up to the front of the business and again the private security guard told them they needed to just leave and that is when one of the men pulled out a gun and shot the private security guard in the foot. The suspects then fled the scene and police are still searching for them. The private security guard was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
I can not believe the month of February is almost done. On Guard Security has had a very hectic yet productive start to the new year. February 20, 2014: A private security guard in Nashville shot at a vehicle in self-defense. The private security guard was doing his nightly patrol of several businesses in his patrol car early Thursday morning when the private security guard came across a man and a woman in a vehicle physically fighting. When the private security guard approached their vehicle the male driver aimed his vehicle at the private security guard. The private security guard fired four shots at the hood of the vehicle to get it to stop. The Nashville police arrived on the scene and the couple and the private security guard were still there. No one was injured but the car was disabled. Their vehicle was actually parked in a no trespassing area. The Nashville police will not be pressing any charges against the private security guard but the Nashville police will be looking at video surveillance to see if there will any charges against the couple for domestic violence.
Two private security guards in Virginia were found dead. The private security guard companies that employees these security officers had a contract with a container shipping company to provide security services for them while at sea. The two private security guards who were formally navy Seal's were found dead in a cabin on board the ship as it was docked at a port in the island if Seychelles. The private security guards were a part of a 24 member crew aboard the ship. Local police are still investigating how the private security guards died and even the FBI investigating the death since the ship was flying under a US flag.
A private security guard detained a woman for police in Maine. The private security guard was working the x-ray machine at a local courthouse when the woman had something in her purse the private security guard could not identify. The private security guard then went through her purse and found drugs and drug paraphernalia. The private security guard contacted the police and held the woman until they could arrive.
A private security guard in California found a man dead. The private security guard was working at an aerospace firm when he was doing his rounds that evening. Once the security guard walked into the warehouse he knew he was wrong because he heard a forklift machine running with no one behind the wheel. Once the private security guard walked up to the forklift he saw a man pinned between a large piece of equipment and the forklift. The man was killed instantly. The private security guard contacted the police.



A private security guard in Florida has been stalked by an older man for days. The private security guard was working her normal post at a local apartment complex in their front gate guard house. One day the older man came over and introduced himself to the private security guard and ever since then he has been stalking the security guard. The next day he came by the guard house and just started walking circles around it all the while just staring at the private security guard. Two days later he came back again and has to be escorted out by another male private security guard when he tried to enter the guard house. Just three hours later he came back again and this time threatened the private security guard and her security guard co-workers telling them they did not know what he was capable of doing. This time the private security guard contacted the police and they came and arrested him, but he just bailed out of jail. The next day the older man came back again and this time he was wearing gloves and just stood outside the guard house and was staring at the private security guard and when another security guard asked him to leave the man refused. The private security guard was afraid he was really going to hurt her this time. The private security guard called the police and when the arrived the older man reeked of alcohol and was again arrested. The private security guard was never injured. There is no other information available at this time.
A private security guard in New York was injured by a group of teenagers. The private security guard was working his regular afternoon shift at a local library. A group of teenagers had started causing a disturbance and when the security guard confronted the group they started yelling racial slurs and the private security guard asked them to leave. They refused and then struck the private security guard in his legs, face and stomach. Local police arrived and did not arrest the group of teenagers, they did escort them out of the library though. The private security guard said this is not the first time he was assaulted at the library but it was the first time it occurred with teenagers. The private security guard suffered minor injuries.
A private security guard in Arkansas tried to help save a young girl that was shot. A group of teenagers had decided to play a prank on one of their friends. They drove over to the house and had thrown eggs and leaves on a car in the driveway. The father at the home had seen it the next day and told his family whoever did it will be back, the kids did come back the next day and the father trying to scare them shot over their vehicle. One of the bullets hit a young girl who was in the car. The kids drove next door to a gas station and the private security guard for the gas station came running out to help them. Once the private security guard arrived at their car he saw the young girl had a bullet wound to her head and she was laying on top of another kid in the car. The private security guard had to get the kid to calm down and told him we cannot move the girl. The private security guard then went back inside to get paper towels to try and stop the bleeding. The young girl died at the scene. The private security guard stayed with the kids until police and paramedics arrived.
A private security guard in Kentucky has been arrested for impersonating a law enforcement officer. The private security guard was working his post at a local bar and the security guard had just come outside to check the parking lot when he witnessed an accident across the street. The private security guard was previously a volunteer firefighter and still had his vehicle equipped with emergency lights and the private security guard was also wearing a shirt with the work traffic on it. The private security guard was also wearing a sliver badge, stun gun, flashlight and had a radio. When he approaches the accident he asked the driver for his driver license and acted like he was a police officer coming to help. Once the real police arrived one of them initially thought the private security guard was an officer. When another police officer arrived though he knew the private security guard and that the security guard was not supposed to have the light or equipment still in his possession. The police took the private security guard into custody.



February 18, 2014: Two state representatives in Michigan have introduced two new bills regarding private security guard training. The representatives want to have the laws changed for how private security guard companies train their security guards and also how the state would regulate the private security guards powers. Michigan is only one of seven states that do not require by law any training of their private security guards. They would like for the security guards to have training for any techniques or devices they may have to use, CPR training and how to defuse a violate situation.
A man in Clarksville shot himself in the back. Clarksville police responded to a call about a shooting and when they arrived the found the victim's wife covering his wound with a cloth. The victim who had been smoking marijuana and drinking while playing with his handgun had pulled the hammer of the gun back and put it on the couch. When the victim sat on the floor by the couch he bumped the couch and told the Clarksville officer that is when the gun went off, hitting him in the back. He told the police his wife was not in the room when it happened. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he is in critical but stable condition.
A man in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee was arrested shortly after he tried to rob a restaurant. The manager of the restaurant was locking the doors at closing time when the suspect started walking very fast toward the front door with a handgun. The manager was able to lock the doors and told his employees to stay inside while he called the police. The suspect started shaking and banging on the front doors and when he could not get in he ran across the street to a waiting vehicle. The police officers spotted the car and was able to take the man into custody. The police also found a loaded gun and they found out that gun was reported stolen. The suspect was arrested and no one at the restaurant was injured.
In Franklin, Tennessee police are still searching for suspects responsible for burglaries. An apartment complex in Franklin has been burglarized three times and in each case the suspects pried open the front doors. Once the suspects were inside they stole computers and televisions. During one of the burglaries a woman was home and when she screamed they suspects left the apartment. Franklin police are still investigating
In Knoxville, Tennessee a woman was arrested after speaking with news reporters. A woman had called the Knoxville police after she heard her neighbor screaming. Once the Knoxville police arrived they found the victim with stab wounds to her stomach and neck. The victim was taken to a local hospital where she had to have surgery and is currently in the intensive care unit. When local news reporters showed up at the house to do a report the suspect actually was there and spoke with the reporters and even told them she stabbed her relative because she thought the woman was the anti-Christ. While the suspect was speaking with them another person with the news team had contacted the police and had put the phone down so their conversation could be listened to. The Knoxville police were able to arrest her while she was still speaking with the reporter.

February 17, 2014: Happy President's Day!!!!
Two private security guards in Nashville got into an altercation this weekend. The private security guard company employees these security officers had sent to them work a shift at a local nightclub Saturday night. Some of the customer inside started arguing and then fighting with each other. Once the security guards confronted the customers they wouldn't listen when asked to stop. The private security guards had to forcible remove the customers from the nightclub. Once outside the customers continued to fight and one of the private security guards had to subdue the customer to get him to stop. The Nashville police did not have to be called because these private security guards were able to get the situation under control.
A private security guard was stabbed this weekend in California. The security guard was on post at at nightclub when he confronted the suspect. It is not yet known why the security guard had to deal with the man. The suspect started arguing with the private security guard and during the argument he stabbed the private security guard once in the chest. The suspect then fled the scene. The security guard had to be taken to the hospital but his injuries were not life-threatening.
Congratulations to Officer Walton for receiving his armed security guard license. I am sure Officer Walton will prove to be even a greater asset to On Guard Security as an armed private security guard as he was unarmed.

February 16, 2014: Two private security guards in New York were assaulted Friday night. The security guards were on patrol at a local mall when they got a call about a man causing a disturbance. When the private security guards confronted the man he started threatening them and punched both the security officers in their faces. Police had to be called in and they arrested the man. Both of the private security guards had injuries but there is no information available at this time as to the extent of the injuries.
In Nashville last night a man was stabbed. The Nashville police were called out to a nightclub in downtown Nashville. A fight had broken out between customers inside the nightclub and one man cut another man in the neck, even some other customers who were trying to get out of the club were cut on their legs and arms as they tried to escape. The victim was taken to a Nashville hospital and the Nashville officers detained a man for questioning but no arrests were made that night. The investigation is still ongoing though and the Nashville police still have to look at the video surveillance of the evening.
In Knoxville, Tennessee early Sunday morning a man was with a gunshot wound to his chest. Knoxville police officers found the victim in an alley behind a residential area. Witnesses told the police that the victim did not want them get to him any medical assistance or even contact the police. The victim was taken to a local hospital for his injuries. The Knoxville officers have little to work with for the victim would not give them any details as to how he got shot. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

A private security guard in Kentucky has been arrested. The security guard had told the police he found a note saying there was a bomb this weekend. During the police investigation though local police have determined that the private security guard is the one who wrote the not. Handwriting analysis even showed the security guards handwriting was the same as was in the note. Kentucky police even have security footage showing that the security guard was the only one who could have placed the note where it was found. The private security guard is being charged with making terroristic threats and falsely reporting an incident.


February 15, 2014: In Nashville the weather is expected this week to be in the 60's to 70's. It is long overdue, this winter just seems to be so long and hopefully the beautiful warm weather will be here to stay!!
A private security guard in Australia was found guilty of killing a man. The private security guard was providing security services for an upscale hotel. A fight had broken out between a group of people that had been staying there. When the security guard confronted the group and asked them to leave they did so at first. After the group of men had gone outside the altercation started again and one of the men showed the security guard and weapon and threatened him. Other private security guards had to come assist their colleague and the altercation just escalated between the security guards and the group of men. One of the private security guards punched one of the men so hard he had to be sent to the hospital where he died two weeks later. There is not allot of details regarding this incident. The judge did sentence the private security guard to eighteen months in jail. There is also no information as to the condition of any of the private security guards and if they had any injuries.
In Nashville a man remains in jail after threatening hospital staff with a knife. The suspect was a patient at a local Nashville emergency room when he just got out of bed and got dressed and started walking the hallways with a blade. When the nurses approached him he began waving the knife at them. Eventually the staff was able to get the man back into his room, but he just started threatening them again. The staff called the hospital's security office for help but they were not able to assist quick enough for they were on the other side of the hospital. A staff member contacted the Nashville police. By the time the Nashville police officers arrived though the hospital's private security guards had the man under control and handcuffed. This Nashville hospital's private security guards who are licensed to be armed are no longer going to be able to carry their weapons while on duty due to a recent policy change.

February 14, 2014: Happy Valentines Day!!!!! The weather in Nashville today is going to be nice yet rainy allot better though than these cold temperatures we have been having.
A private security guard in California shoots a burglary suspect. The security guard company was hired by the neighborhood to help patrol the area since so many homes have been broken into recently. The private security guard was patrolling the area around noon on Wednesday when he spotted two men trying to break into a home. Once the burglars saw the security guard they separated, one in a car they other one on foot. The private security guard got back into his patrol vehicle and started following the one suspect on foot. Once the armed security guard caught up to the suspect he got out of his vehicle and started chasing the suspect. The suspect suddenly stopped and took out a screwdriver and tried to attack the security guard. The private security guard shot the suspect one time in the leg. The suspect was taken to the hospital and the private security guard was not injured. The security guard company that employees this security officer have not yet commented on the situation.
An arrest has finally been made in the shooting of a private security guard in Florida. The security officer was on duty at a local apartment complex back in November of last year. While patrolling the complex the security guard confronted two men who were trespassing. Moments later the suspects started shooting at the security guard and he was hit two times. There is no other information available at this time.
A private security guard in Florida has been awarded $100,000 in a court case. The private security guard had provided security for a client's party that was being held inside a nightclub that had their own security guards. The private security guard claims a man had punched him in the face and hit him over the head with a beer bottle in a fight that lasted for a couple of minutes. The security guard was not helped with the fight by the nightclubs security officers and if they would have helped him he would not have been attacked so viciously. The security guard suffered a skull laceration and had a tear in his quadriceps. The nightclub though tried to fight the charges that there private security guards did not assist the guard. They say their own security officers did help and that they private security guard never alerted them to the confrontation earlier. The private security guard had originally sued the nightclub for $200,000 but the jury found them both to be responsible.
A private security guard in New York has been arrested. The unarmed security guard was working for a local wire company and had been hired to watch the business overnight. The security guard became a thief instead. He stole thousands of dollar's worth of copper. Police say that the only time things would disappear from the business is when the private security guard was on duty.
Private security guards in New Jersey detained a drunk driver. The security guards were working the main gate at a nuclear plant. The armed security guard watched as a suspicious vehicle pulled into the security checkpoint area. The private security guards approached the van and the driver told them he made a wrong turn into the security checkpoint area and just wanted to turn around. The private security guards smelled alcohol and the drivers breathed and help him until the police arrived.
In Nashville a young man became a victim of a robbery. The young man had placed an add on an internet site to sell some name brand tennis shoes. He met the suspect at a local Nashville restaurant to show them to him. When the victim showed the shoes to the suspect the suspect just picked them up and started to walk away. The victim did not try and stop him but he did start to question the suspect and the suspect told him not to follow him because he had a gun. The victim had a relative with him who followed the suspect to a house and then he called the police. When the Nashville police went to the door the woman who answered told them no one had recently been in her home. The Nashville police asked her if she knew the phone number they had for the suspect and she told them it belonged to her grandson. The suspect then came out of hiding under a daybed that was in the living room and he was even wearing a pair of the stolen shoes. The other shoes were located inside the home as well. The Nashville police arrested the suspect.


February 13, 2014: In Nashville an inmate attacks a guard. The inmate was in the medical ward when the security officer told her to put her hands behind her head. The inmate did not do what was asked of her and threatened the security officer before she started lunging toward the guard. The inmate then started beating the security guard in the head with her handcuffs and kicked the security guard in the face. The private security guard received cuts to her hands and a concussion. The inmate was just recently put in the Nashville jail for domestic assault.
A private security guard in Canada was injured on the job. The security guard confronted a shoplifter at a local retail store for stealing watches and sunglasses. Once confronted the shoplifter started struggling with the security guard and during the struggle the private security guards hand was cut. Other security guards for the store had to come help and the shoplifter was eventually taken into police custody. The private security guard did not have to go to the hospital for his injury.
A private security guard in Oklahoma was kidnapped. The armed security guard was on post at a local home repair store when he saw two people who had broken in loading material into their truck. When the security guard confronted the suspects he used his stun gun on the man but it didn't seem to faze him and the man began choking the security guard and somehow the two ended up in the back of the suspect's truck. The security guard fired once into the bed of the truck and that is when the suspect yelled for the other to start driving.The driver started driving through the streets wildly as the security guard was fighting the suspect in the back. The private security guard was finally able to escape when the truck came to a stop. Police were able to locate the two suspects and they are currently in jail. There is no information available as to the condition of the private security guard.

In Knoxville, Tennessee over three hundred students showed up for a snowball fight in Neyland stadium. The snowball fight was not sanctioned by the school and two people were cited for underage drinking and eight University of Tennessee students were cited for trespassing Wednesday evening. University of Tennessee police officers showed up to break up the snowball fight after evidence of it began showing up on social media last night. The majority of the students left the stadium when the police asked them to. School officials are concerned about any damage that may have been done to the grass on the field. No other information is available at this time.


February 12, 2014: A private security guard in Illinois was threatened by a shoplifter. The security guard was working security at a retail store when he saw the suspect trying to walk out with a pair of shoes he had tried on an he also had allot of items he stole in a storage tote. When the security guard tried to stop the suspect the man turned around and pulled out a large knife and threatened the private security guard before he fled into the parking lot. Local police were able to catch the suspect at a nearby hotel and arrested him. The private security guard was not injured.
A private security guard in California was killed while on duty. The private security guard was working for a local strip club when the suspect was leaving the club without paying. The security guard followed him to his vehicle and the suspect acted like he was going to leave because he got into his car. When the security guard questioned him the suspect got out of his car and lunged at the security guard and then just shot him in his chest. The suspect tried to flee the scene but got his vehicle stuck in a large mound of dirt. At the time of the shot being fired the other private security guards for the club ran outside and were able to catch the suspect and hold him until the police arrived. The private security guard who was shot was taken to the hospital but later died of his injuries.
The weather in Nashville is about to get allot worse. The state of Tennessee has issued a state of an emergency because of a winter storm that is about to affect us with snow and ice. This type of weather can be dangerous for private security guards or anyone else who is required to work outside. I hope all private security guards and anyone else will be prepared for this weather.
A private security guard in California was threatened with an ex. The security guard was working his post at a local grocery store when he spotted the woman taking some food items and walking out of the store without paying. The security guard followed the woman outside and when he confronted her she turned around and pulled out an ax and started waving it at the security guard. The private security guard backed away from the woman and contacted the police. The police were able to locate the woman down the street and she had her ax in her waistband. The private security guard was not injured during the incident.
In Nashville a woman was injured by the police after refusing to listen to them. The woman's daughter had contacted the Nashville police after her mother shot at her dog numerous times and was threatening to kill herself. The daughter was very concerned because her husband, brother an three-year-old son was in the house. Once the Nashville police arrived at the home they saw that the front door was open and the woman was armed with a gun. After repeatedly telling the woman to drop the gun she still refused and tried to shut the door. The Nashville officer kicked open the door and that is when the woman made a threat saying she was going to kill herself and again tried to shut the door. The Nashville officer kicked it back open again and this time the woman pointed her gun at the officers. The police fired at her in defense and the woman was critically injured. The woman was taken to a Nashville hospital. Luckily no one else in the home was injured. The Nashville police officers involved will be on a routine administrative assignment. There is no more information available at this time.



February 11, 2014: Two private security guards in New York have been arrested. The private security guard company that employes these security guards contracted with a local diner to provide security services for them. The two security guards had broken up a fight between two customers inside the diner on Sunday. The security guards had to remove the customers from the building and once they were outside the security guards followed them and started an altercation. The private security guards assaulted one of the customers. The victim had to be taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Both private security guards were charged with third-degree assault and issued a citation to appear in court. The private security guard firm has made no comment yet on this situation.
A private security guard in New York was attacked by two women. The security officer watched as two women were stealing clothes from a clothing store and tried to walk out of the store without paying. The private security guard approached the suspects and as he did they sprayed pepper spray into his eyes. The suspects then fled the store but by this time local police had arrived and arrested them as they were trying to leave the parking lot in their vehicle. The private security guard was treated at the scene by paramedics and is expected to be alright.
A private security guard in Australia is being called a hero. The security guard was on patrol in a parking lot of a shopping center when he spotted a baby locked inside a vehicle all alone in the scorching heat. The security guard broke out the passenger window with a hammer and then he reached in and grabbed the baby. Customer who has been watching the incident had called the police who then came out and spoke with a woman who accepted full responsibility. No charges were filed against the woman and the baby was taken to the hospital to be checked out. The baby was not harmed. The private security guard was not injured when he broke the glass out of the window.
A private security guard was injured in Colorado. The security guard was on duty at a nightclub when a large fight broke out. Some customers on the club's second floor balcony began throwing beer bottles at those who were on the first floor. The first floor customers began throwing bottles back. As the private security guards for the nightclub were trying to shut the club down and get everyone outside additional fights started breaking out in the parking lot. Local police were called in to help get the situation under control. Eight people were injured in the fights and had to be taken to the hospital, including a private security guard. There is no information available on the extent of the customers injuries. The security guard did suffer from a broken wrist though.
In Murfressboro, Tennessee police officers who had responded to a call were surprised at what they found instead. On Monday afternoon Murfreesboro police had responded to a burglary call at an apartment complex on Bradyville Pike. What they found when they arrived though was a man dead inside a hallway. Murfreesboro police are still investigating and have not released the name of the victim until the family is notified.
In Nashville four local massage parlors were raided by the police Monday afternoon. Nashville police had been receiving numerous complaints involving the businesses, so they had undercover officers go and collect evidence. In each of the businesses police say that the employees went to far with some of their customers even offering sexual services for a price. A total of ten women were arrested and the Nashville police are still investigating to see if it could also be a case of human trafficking.


February 10, 2014: A private security guard in Iowa puts out a fire. The security guard was working for a local hotel when he heard a smoke alarm going off. The security guard knocked on the door to the room the noise was coming from. The woman who was in the room had previously been arguing with the hotel management over her bill. The security guard was able to get access to the room and put the fire out before too much damage had been done. The security guard held the woman until the police arrived. The police arrested her for starting the fire with bible pages in the trash can. The security guard was not injured.
An armed private security guard in Virginia was robbed. The security guard was leaving a bank early this morning when the suspect approached him with a pepper spray bottle. The suspect started attacking the private security guard and the two began to struggle. The fight continued outside of the bank and that is when the suspect grabbed the back from the private security guard and started running. The security guard shot one time at the suspect. It is not yet known if the security guard's bullet hit the suspect. The private security guard was not injured.
A man in Nashville kicked a police officer who was trying to arrest him. The suspect was parked on a street near downtown Nashville when the police officers approached his vehicle wanting to speak with him. When the suspect opened his car door there was a strong odor of marijuana and as the suspect got out of his car he threw a marijuana cigar onto the floor of his vehicle. When the Nashville police started to arrest the man he pulled away from them and tries to climb over his vehicle, during this time was when the kicked one of the police officers. The suspect was eventually arrested and sent to a Nashville jail. The suspect has since bonded out of the Nashville jail. No information is available on the condition of the police officer who was kicked.

February 9, 2014: A private security guard in Nashville was assaulted Friday afternoon. The security guard was working security for Nashville's Rivergate Mall when he confronted a man who had been harassing women. When the private security guard asked the man to leave the mall the suspect charged at him and the security guard had to use his pepper-spray but the suspect was still able to punch the guard in his face. The suspect was arrested by the Nashville police. The private security guard had to be taken to a Nashville hospital but he was not seriously injured.
A private security guard in Arkansas found a gun on school property. The security guard was on patrol at a local high school. He had seen a suspicious vehicle entering school property and watched as three young men got out and were headed for the front door. The security guard was able to meet the boys and he scanned them for weapons and that is when the security guard found a gun in one of the boys sock. He contacted the local police and the boy was arrested. The other two boys were not charged with anything and there is no word on why he brought a gun to the school. The private security guard was not injured.
A private security guard in Illinois was beaten by a shoplifter. Two security guards were on duty at a home improvement store when they watched a man put some items into his coat pocket while standing in line to pay for other items. The two private security guards confronted the suspect outside of the store and one of the guards stood behind the suspects vehicle to try and prevent him from leaving. The suspect though backed up and the security guard had to jump onto the bumper and hold on to the luggage rack of the vehicle to avoid being hit. The suspect then swerved his vehicle to try and knock the security guard off. When that did not work he drove about five blocks down an alley and started scratching and punching the security guard. Meanwhile back at the store the other private security guard had contacted the police and the police were able to find the suspect and the security guard. The suspect was arrested on a felony charge of aggravated burglary. The improvement store has video surveillance of the suspect stealing and then driving away with the security guard holding onto the car. There is no information available as to the private security guards condition.
A private security guard in Florida was robbed Wednesday afternoon. The security guard was emptying an ATM machine inside of a local mall when the two suspects approached him and one of the suspects pushed the security guard to the ground while the other suspect grabbed a bag the security guard was holding and the two then started running. The private security guard yelled for help and two off-duty sheriff's deputies who saw the robbery chased after the suspects and were able to arrest them. The private security guard was not seriously injured.
In Knoxville, Tennessee three University Of Tennessee football players were arrested last night. Knoxville police had responded to call regarding loud music at an apartment complex. Once the officers arrived they found a large group of people inside and saw open containers of alcohol. One suspect who lives in the apartment told the officer's he would bring the noise level down and the officer's left. Yet as they were leaving the music got loud again and the officer's again gave them a warning and left. Soon after the officer's were called back the apartment complex in response to a fight in front of the building. Once they arrived they found another suspect who gave them false information about his name and age and they could smell alcohol on his breath. The Knoxville officer's tried to take him into custody and he struggled with them. In all three football players were arrested the other two for purchasing alcohol for a minor and resisting arrest. All three of the football players have since bonded out of a Knoxville jail.

February 8, 2014: Two private security guards in Florida were involved in a shooting. The armed security guards had responded to a call about a man on a train who was acting very suspiciously and was possibly armed. Once the security guards found the man they removed him from the train and that is when things turned violent. The suspect started fighting with the security guards and he was able to get one of the private security guards weapon away from him and shot the security guard. Then the suspect pointed the gun at the other security guard and that is when the private security guard drew his own weapon and shot the suspect. The suspect was only wounded and was able to run across a busy highway and tried to get on a city bus but the driver refused to open the door. The suspect then crawled under the bus trying to hide from the police. The police found the suspect and arrested him. The private security guard who was shot by the suspect is in critical, but stable condition at at the hospital. The other security guard was not injured.


February 7, 2014: A private security guard in Canada has been sentenced to jail. The security guard company that employees the private security guard had placed him at two different warehouses for overnight security watch in the first three months of his employment. During the security guards shifts he would go thru drawers and cabinets and steal cellphone, money and electronic equipment from both locations. One of the warehouses started becoming suspicious though and set the private security guard up by placing items in drawers and cabinets for the security guard to find and the whole thing was caught on video surveillance. The judge in his case stated that since it went on for months the security guard violated the trust of both the security guard company and the businesses that hired the security guard company. The private security guard will be on probation for eighteen months and have to serve ninety days in jail on the weekends.
In Nashville a clothing store employee has been charged with theft. The woman worked for the cloth store which is located inside the Rivergate Mall and she had allowed people to buy merchandise without paying the full cost for the items. Security officers for the store reported seven thefts had occurred during November thru February. On video surveillance you can see it was the same woman working the register every time the thefts happened. The woman was confronted at work and she even wrote and signed a statement admitting to what she did. Nashville police arrested the woman and she was taken to jail, but has since bonded out of the Nashville jail.
A private security guard in Texas shoots a woman who stole his car. The off-duty security guard was stuck in traffic on a snow covered highway. The woman slammed into the back of the private security guards vehicle and the got out and started walking to his vehicle. As the armed security guard got of out his car she forced her way into the driver seat of his vehicle and tried to drive away. The security guard shot one time at the woman before she was able to drive away. Due to the snow and ice on the highway she did not get very fay. Local police caught up with her after she crashed into three more vehicles on the highway. The security guards bullet did hit her in the leg and she was taken to the hospital. The private security guard was not injured. Police did not arrest the security guard but they did refer the shooting to a grand jury for a review of his actions.



February 6, 2014: Private security guards in Nashville found a dead body early Monday morning. An elderly woman had been reported missing by her family last Wednesday and the security guards discovered her body in a field near Centennial Park. The Nashville medical examiner will find out how she died and the Nashville police do not suspect any foul play though.
A private security guard In California has been shot. The security guard was on post outside of a church Wednesday night. A friend of the security guard stopped to chat with him and then another man approached the security guard and his friend and started shooting. The suspect then ran away from the scene. The pastor of the church heard the shooting and when he came outside the security guard was hobbling toward the pastor asking for help. The private security guard was taken to the hospital and is listed in fair condition. His friend died at the scene. Local police are investigating whether it was a gang member that shot the two men. The church pastor said that there is allot of gang activity in the area.
In Lafollette, Tennessee two young men have been arrested for aggravated robbery. Local police had responded to an armed robbery at a discount store Wednesday night. When the Lafollette police arrived they found out that two young boys wearing masks and hooded sweatshirts robbed the store of over five hundred dollars and used guns and a knife. The police though got a tip and were able to locate the boys early Thursday morning. They also found the money and weapons the boys used. The weapons though turned out to be an air soft gun and a BB gun.
A private security guard in Florida had his weapon taken away from him. The armed security guard was on duty at an apartment complex when he received a call about a man being knocked unconscious. The suspect and a friend had shown up at the complex looking for his mother who was involved with a man that lives there. When the suspect knocked on the man's door he answered it and the suspect saw his mother inside and just hit the man in the head which knocked him out. The suspect then just left the apartment on foot. The victim was unconscious for almost three minutes. The security guard was able to find the suspect hiding in the complex and after a chase the private security guard grabbed him but the suspect started struggling with the guard and was able to get a hold of the security guards gun. The security guard wrapped his arms around the suspect and threw him to the ground and the gun was underneath the suspect. As the two continued to struggle the police arrived and tried to get the suspect under control but he just ignored them and continued to struggle. A police dog was finally able to get the suspect to stop. The private security guard was not injured.



February 5, 2014: A private security guard in Ohio was injured on the job. The security guard was on duty at a gas station early Tuesday morning. A man had walked into the gas station and grabbed a six pack of beer then he walked to the counter like he was going to pay. All of a sudden the man ran for the door and as the private security guard tried to stop him the man cut the security guard in the neck and ran out the door to a waiting vehicle. There is no information on the condition of the private security guard.
A private security guard for a congressman in New Jersey has been arrested. The security guard was seen on video surveillance putting items into a shopping cart, and also was shoving items into his pockets at a retail store. The security guard then went to the checkout line and paid for some of the items but was stopped by the stores security officer. The private security guard had eight other items in his pockets and even had on a cap he had stolen. When the private security guard was arrested he asked the local police to let him go because it would cause a scandal for the congressman he worked for. The police denied that request and the security guard was taken to jail.
In Nashville yesterday three people were arrested on drug charges. A Nashville post office on Dickerson Pike contacted the Nashville police because a man kept calling to see if his package had arrived and when the postal workers received the package it had a strong smell of marijuana. The police had a k-9 unit come out and the dog alerted to the presence of drugs. The police waited for the man to pick up the package and when he did they arrested him. The package contained over ten pounds of marijuana. The man told the police another couple has paid him two hundred dollars to pick it up from the post office and he thought that was suspicious but needed the money. The couple were arrested and all three are in a Nashville jail.

In Knoxville, Tennessee police are still searching for two men suspected of a home invasion. The lady who lives at the home told the police that when she opened her door two men pushed their way in and demanded money and pills. One of the suspects was armed with a pocket knife. The stole her items and left. The Knoxville police only have a vague description of the suspects for they were covering their faces with bandanas. The lady was not injured.
In Nashville the temperature seems to be dropping by the minute. Always be prepared for this Nashville weather you just never seem to know how the day is going to turn out.
In Murfreesboro, Tennessee someone stole close to two thousand dollars in quarters. A manager for a car wash on Church Street showed up for work Monday morning and found that someone had broken into the maintenance part of the building and that is where they have the change machine. In that area they had three five-gallon buckets of change and also the change machine was emptied. Murfreesboro police think the suspects got into the section where the money was by going thru the ceiling and then they just walked out the front door. Murfreesboro police are still investigating.


February 4, 2014: Two private security guards were shot at this weekend in Kansas. The armed security guards were working at a nightclub and had just kicked out two men for violating the nightclub's dress code. The men who were brothers were escorted out to the parking lot by the two private security guards. One of the men suddenly pulled out his gun and aimed it at the security guards. The private security guards told the man to put down his gun but instead he began shooting at the them. Since the two private security guards were armed one of the security guards shot back. An off-duty police officer was at a gas station nearby and heard the shots. That officer called for other police officers and they arrived quickly to the nightclub. The man who started the shooting was killed by the private security guard's bullet. The other brother was shot in the leg by the security guard and was taken to the hospital for treatment and later arrested. The two private security guards were not injured.
Four private security guards had to detain one man in Philadelphia. The private security guards were working at a stadium providing security for a concert that was being held there. There is no information at this time as to why the security guards detained the man. One of the private security guard's approached a police officer and two state troopers that were outside the stadium and the security guard told them that the other private security guards were holding a man and they needed police assistance. When the police arrived they saw that three private security guards were holding the man on the ground and one of the security guard's told the police officer the man punched him five times. When the state troopers and the officer tried to take the man into custody he punched the officer in the face. They were finally able to place the man under arrest. The private security guard's were not seriously injured and the security guards needed no medical treatment.

In Columbia, Tennessee a man was pulled over and robbed this weekend. The victim told the police he was pulled over by a vehicle with a flashing blue light. Once the victim pulled over a man got out of the other vehicle and told the victim he was an undercover drug enforcement officer. The victim asked the alleged officer why he was stopped and the suspect told him he had a faulty taillight. When the victim turned around to look at the light he was hit over the head from behind with something hard. This knocked the victim out and when he awoke his wallet was on the ground and his money was missing. The suspect was gone. The Columbia police are still investigating.
A private security guard in South Carolina was bitten by a shoplifter. The private security guard was working his post at a grocery store when a customer notified the security guard that a woman was stuffing items into her pockets in the restroom. When the security guard confronted the woman she ran for the door and as she did she started throwing the items from her pockets. The private security guard was able to stop the woman but she then bit the security guard in the neck. When a police officer arrived the security guard was having a hard time controlling her. When the police officer tried to handcuff the woman she began to yell profanities at them and the security guard helped the officers get her to the ground and in handcuffs. As she was being taken to the patrol car the woman kicked the two officers and even hit one in the face. The woman began having seizures yet still continued to fight. Once the woman was at the hospital she was still struggling to get free and now hospital security guard's had to restrain her until the police could place her under arrest. There is no word on the private security guard at the grocery store who was bitten if he had to have medical treatment. The hospital private security guards were not injured.


February 3, 2014: Two private security guards in Canada were attacked by a man. The two armed security guards were just leaving a bank with bags of money and the security guards were walking back to their security vehicle when the man approached them. The man physically attacked started attacking them. One of the private security guards shot the man and the man later died at a local hospital. The two private security guards were not injured.
A security guard in New Jersey was injured trying to stop a shoplifter. The unarmed security guard was working at a local department store when he saw a man running out the front doors with a kitchen mixer. The security guard was able to stop the man just outside but the suspect started fighting with the private security guard and pushed the security guard down to the ground and ran away from the scene. The private security guard suffered cuts to his left arm, wrist and his right wrist. The private security guard was treated at the scene by paramedics. Local police later arrested the shoplifter.
In Nashville last night a man was arrested after fighting with a Nashville police officer. Two men had been arguing and when one of the Nashville officer's attempted to separate them they ignored the Nashville officer's request and continue to argue. The Nashville officer told one of them men he was under arrest and that man started fighting with the Nashville officer and was able to get the Nashville officer to the ground and was on top of him when other Nashville police officer's assisted and took the man into custody. The man is currently in a Nashville jail and there is no information at this time if the Nashville police officer was injured.
A private security guard in Texas tries to stop a robbery. The security guard was working outside a family restaurant early Monday morning. Three armed robbers came into the restaurant and demanded money at gunpoint. The suspects then left the restaurant with only one hundred dollars in cash. The private security guard was alerted to the robbery by an employee and the armed security guard started shooting at the suspects vehicle. The suspects were able to flee the scene. No customers were inside the restaurant at the time of the robbery and the private security guard was not injured.
Two private security guards in New Jersey help an elderly man who was being robbed. The private security guard's were on duty inside of a local bank and the seventy-five year old man had just left an ATM machine that was located in the foyer of the bank. The suspect knocked the elderly man to the ground and started going through his pockets. Another elderly man who saw what was happening tried to help by hitting the suspect with his cane and when that did not work he ask the two private security guard's for help. The private security guard's were able to get the suspect to stop and held him until the police arrived. The private security guard's were not injured.
In Nashville on Friday a man was shot numerous times. The victim had set a meeting with another man to buy a flat screen TV. Once the victim arrived at the Nashville home to look at the TV the suspect locked the door behind him and demanded all of his money and shot the victim several times in the leg. The victim was taken to a Nashville hospital. The Nashville police arrested the suspect this morning and he is in a Nashville jail on charges of especially aggravated robbery.
A private security guard has been hired for en elementary school in England. The private security guard will be assisting the teachers with the morning drop-off and afternoon pickups. Parents have been issued warnings numerous times bu the school that they need to park in certain areas for the safety of the children. The school also sent out a letter advising the parents that a private security guard would be hired if they did not follow the rules. The security guard will also have to deal with unruly parents who have caused disturbances at the school over the parking situations.

February 2, 2014: A private security guard in New York has been injured. The private security guard had just picked up money from a bank when three armed men confronted him. The private security guard was sprayed in the face with pepper spray and had a gun pointed at his face during the robbery. The private security guard was robbed of over three hundred thousand dollars before the three men then escaped in a waiting vehicle. The security guard was taken to a local hospital for treatment and there is no other information on the security guard's condition. The private security guard company that employees the security guard if offering an award of fifty thousand dollars for any information.
The cold weather has come back to Nashville. Forecasters are saying that the temperature will be dropping all day and we may even get some snow in Nashville. That is going to be quite a change from Saturday when the temperature in Nashville was almost sixty-degrees.
A private security guard in Indiana has died after a heart attack. The security guard was driving an armored vehicle and had just stopped at a ATM to refill the machine. The private security guard then slumped over the steering wheel and the security guard's foot slipped off the brake and the vehicle start moving, hitting numerous cars before it stopped. Local firefighters had to strike the bullet-proof glass for over ten minutes with an axe just to get a hole big enough for the jaws of life to be used. The private security guard was unresponsive when they finally got to him. Paramedics feel the private security guard died instantly. There was another private security guard who was in the back of the vehicle but for the security guard's safety the security guard's do not have keys to be able to get to each other. The private security guard who was in the back was not injured.
A private security guard in California has been given praise by the local police. Early Saturday morning shots were reported outside of a bar. The private security guard was able to detain the suspect until police officers arrived. There is not allot of information at this time as to why the suspect was shooting and why the private security guard was there to stop him. The private security guard was not injured.
In Franklin, Tennessee a hand grenade was found in a donation box. A customer who was shopping at a thrift store discovered the hand grenade and gave it to a manger at the store. The manager called the Franklin police and they told him to take it outside to a remote area if possible. The Franklin fire department and EMS workers came to the scene. Even the Tennessee Highway Patrol and Nashville-Metro bomb squad were called out to investigate the grenade. After inspecting the hand grenade it was determined that there were no explosive components inside the grenade. The Nashville-Metro bomb squad believe the grenade was used as a novelty item.
In Nashville Saturday a fire station was named after the longest serving Nashville firefighter. Station number nine was dedicated in the firefighter's honor after serving fifty-three years as a Nashville firefighter.

February 1, 2014: A private security guard in Colorado detains a burglary suspect. The security guard was responding to an alarm that was going off at a home. Once the private security guard arrived he found the suspect in the garage. The private security guard held the man in the security guard's custody until the police arrived. No one was home during the attempted burglary and the private security guard was not injured.
A private security guard in Virginia receives over $8,000 in donations. The private security guard was working at a local street art festival back in November when the security guard was savagely beaten. The private security guard said that the donations could not have come at a better time. The security guard has allot of medical bills from the attack.
In North Carolina private security guards employed for a local hospital are now carrying handguns. This will be the first time the security officers at the hospital will be armed. Three out of the seven private security guards will be armed during each of the private security guard's twelve hour shifts. The private security guard's will not be concealing the guns, they will be carrying them in holsters on their duty belts. The private security guards also carry batons and pepper foam.
In Nashville Friday night a driver of a vehicle had to flag down Nashville police officers. The passenger in the vehicle had been shot several times in the legs at a Nashville home just off of Murfreesboro Pike. The victim was on his way to the hospital and was being driven by a friend when they saw the Nashville police had a checkpoint on Bell Road. Nashville police are still investigating the home where he was was shot. The victim was taken to a Nashville hospital. Two people of interest were held by the Nashville police but have not been charged with the shooting. One of the people being held was arrested on an outstanding warrant he had.
One of On Guard Security's private security guards had his window broken on post. Our security officer was working at a Nashville restaurant and was inside the building when a couple of men started to become disruptive inside. Our security guard had to remove the men from the restaurant. Later on that evening the security guard was notified by customers of the restaurant that their vehicles had been damaged. The private security guard saw that even his truck had his passenger side window broken out and our private security guard and the owner of the restaurant believe the two men that had been removed earlier that night were the suspects. Our private security guard was not injured.
