March 31, 2014: The weather today in Nashville got quite warm and it’s long overdue. Temperatures are expected to be in the high 70’s all week.
A private security guard in Philadelphia was shot. The unarmed security guard was working for a bar/restaurant when shooting occurred. The suspect had tried to entry the business but was told by the private security guard the business was closing. The man got very angry and threw a mile crate at the door and left. Soon after though the suspect returned with a gun and started shooting into the business and then fled the scene. The security guard was shot and a female customer was injured by flying glass that hit her in her neck. Both the customer and the private security guard were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition. The security guard is expected to be okay. Local police are still searching for the suspect.
In Nashville a young man has died of his injuries after being stabbed. Late Monday night the young man was seen by witnesses walking away from his Nashville apartment complex and appeared injured. The victim asked for help and then fell to the ground. The Nashville police were called to the scene and the victim was taken to a Nashville hospital but later died from his injuries. Nashville police are still investigating and searching for a motive and suspect.

March 30, 2014: In Oklahoma a private security guard found over $10.00 worth of drugs. The security officer was patrolling an apartment complex when he noticed a vehicle with out of state tags backed into a corner that is not a parking spot. When the security guard approached the vehicle he asked the man inside does he live in the complex? The man told the security guard that his girlfriend lived there but could not tell the private security guard in what apartment she live lived in. Now the private security guard became suspicious and asked the man if he could search his vehicle and the man told him yes. The unarmed security officer found heroin and over 150 bags of crack cocaine inside the car. The private security guard detained the suspect and called the police. Once the police officer arrived the arrested the suspect.

March 29, 2014:A private security guard in Michigan helped police catch a suspect. The private security guard works for a local high school and a fight broke out between students. The unarmed security guard was trying to break up the fight and saw one of the kids with a gun. That kid was able to ride away from the scene on a bicycle. Local police were called as the fight got out of control. The private security guard told the police that suspect was not a student and was able to give them a name and description of the suspect. The police were able to catch the kid and arrested him a short time later. The private security guard received no injuries in the fight.

A private security guard in Louisiana has been arrested. The security officer was providing security for a birthday party. That party started getting out of control and the private security guard fired his weapon two times into the ground to try and get the altercation under control. Three teenagers died at that party and when the police questioned the private security guard he at first admitted to having the gun but told them he did not fire the weapon. Witnesses though told the police that the private security guard did fire his weapon and had cellphone video to prove it. Later the private security guard did admit to having the gun but the security guard did not have his handgun carry permit or even a license to be an armed security guard. The security guard company who employees this security officer has not yet made any comments regarding the security officer’s arrest.

A man in Nashville robbed a gas station early Tuesday morning. The suspect walked into a gas station in west Nashville with a knife. The suspect demanded money from the clerk and then apologized for the robbery and told the clerk he was having a bad day and fled the scene. The Nashville police were called and they brought out a k-9 unit but they were unsuccessful in searching for the suspect. The Nashville police do have a good description of the suspect and are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.

March 24, 2014: Is it a bright sunny day in Nashville today but that sun is deceiving it is actually chilly.

A private security guard in New Mexico had his gun taken by his wife. The armed security guard and his wife had just pulled into an apartment complex the private security guard was going to start his security shift. The security guards wife though started arguing with the female security officer that was already there. The wife then took her husband's weapon and pointed it at the female security guard threatening to shoot her if she did not leave her security guard husband alone. The female security guard contacted the police and when they arrived the wife told them she only took her husband's weapon and put it on top of their vehicle to protect herself. No security guard was injured and the police arrested the private security guard's wife. The security guard company that employees both private security guards have made no comments regarding this incident.

An employee for a local restaurant in Nashville was injured by a customers car. The employee had followed the customer out of the Nashville restaurant after she left the Thompson Lane restaurant without paying. The customer though got into her vehicle and ran over the employee with her vehicle. The Nashville police arrived and arrested the customer and she is currently in a Nashville jail. The employee was taken to a Nashville hospital and there is no information at this time as to her condition.

A man in Louisiana wearing a private security guard uniform was arrested. A woman had just come out of a gas station and was walking down the street when she heard someone from behind her telling her to give him everything she had. When the victim turned around the suspect had a gun pointed her at and was wearing a security guard uniform. The victim gave the suspect all her money and she watched as the man and a female walked into a nearby house. The victim contacted the police and when they arrived they showed up in an unmarked police vehicle with the victim inside. When the police knocked on the suspects door he climbed out of the window still wearing the private security guard uniform and started running. The victim yelled out that's him and the police were able to capture him and he still had his gun. There is no information available whether the suspect was even a security guard or just wearing the private security guard uniform.

Three unarmed security guards in Wisconsin were attacked. The private security guards were all working at a local nightclub. The first security guard was trying to break up a fight between two men and one of them grabbed the private security guard by the hair and punched him in the head. Then the security guard was punched by another man. When the second private security guard came to help his co-worker he was put in a headlock and punched in the head. That is when a third private security guard came over and he was punched in the nose. All the suspects were able to escape for a moment. The police arrived and caught them as they were running from the scene. The three private security guards all suffered minor injuries and did not need any medical treatment.

A 19-year-old man was arrested in Nashville Saturday night. The incident happened at a popular mall in Nashville. The suspect had confronted three people in the parking lot of the Nashville mall and started pulling on a woman's purse. When the woman turned around the suspect pulled his gun and told her to give him the purse. The woman did give him the purse and then the suspect told a man to put his belongings on a nearby car. The suspect took everything and just walked away. One of the victims watched the suspect and the other notified an off-duty Nashville police officer working security at the mall. The suspect was captured after a brief chase. The Nashville officer found the gun inside the victim's purse. The suspect is currently in a Nashville jail on charges of aggravated burglary, felony possession of a dangerous weapon and possession of contraband inside the Nashville jail.

The general manager for the mall in Nashville made a statement regarding the situation that occurred. The manager is saying that the Nashville mall has a roving 24 hour security presence which includes CCTV cameras and ongoing security employee education along with a working relationship with Metro Nashville Police.

Private security officers in Missouri had suspects enter the business they were guarding with weapons. The security guards were on duty at a local mall when they spotted four men entering the mall all carrying guns. The security team for the mall contacted local police. When the police arrived they confronted the suspects and arrested them. Luckily no one was injured.

March 22, 2014: An unarmed private security guard found a dead body in Nevada. The private security guard was at work at a hospital early Thursday morning. When the security guard decided to make he rounds in the parking lost he found a man dead in his vehicle with gunshot wounds. The security officer contacted police and it was found that the victim shot himself.

Private security guards for a major grocery store across the country will now have to be unarmed. The grocery store is making the changes for all of their stores. The private security guard company that employees armed and unarmed security guards for the grocery store have responded saying its is very disheartening to the security company. The changes are going to be drastically different for now the private security guards will not be able to carry a weapon, handcuffs, baton and chemical repellants. Allot of customers for the grocery chain are saying they will no longer shop at their stores that they feel will be now unsafe with an armed security officer. The grocery chain even will stop using off-duty police officers as private security guards.

In Nashville Friday evening Nashville police shot and killed a suspected burglar. It all started when the suspect tried to use stolen credit cards at a sports automotive sports store on 8th Avenue in downtown Nashville. A Nashville detective was headed to the store after he found out the suspect was there earlier on Friday and planned to return. As soon as the suspect arrived the Nashville detective confronted him and a face mask fell from the suspects clothing. The Nashville detective grabbed the suspect by his jacket and when he did the suspect pointed a weapon at the Nashville detective's head. That is when the detective backed away from the suspect and he was able to flee the scene on foot. The suspect was able to carjack a woman at gunpoint in downtown Nashville. The Nashville police were able to track the suspect using the victim's cell phone that was left in the car and by using a helicopter. The suspect though left the car in a parking garage near West End and that was out of the sight of the Nashville police helicopter. The Nashville police flooding the area looking for the suspect . The suspect was eventually spotted but witnesses running through a shopping center with a gun pointed at his head. When the Nashville police found the suspect he aimed his gun at the Nashville officers and five Nashville officers shot at the suspect, killing him. All the Nashville officers that were involved in the shooting have been placed on routine administrative leave while the Nashville police are still investigating the shooting. The suspect had outstanding warrants in Nashville for burglary and felony arrest. The suspect was also a parolee with allot of convictions on his record even one for armed robbery.

A private security guard in Philadelphia has been injured. The unarmed private security guard was inside his security booth at a Navy yard when a driver crashed into the security booth striking the security officer. The driver had lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the fence that surrounded the security booth. Local police have taken the driver into custody and are going to check to see if he was intoxicated. The private security guard was taken to the hospital where he suffered injuries to his neck, back and hip. The security guard is in stable condition.

March 21, 2014: A private security guard in California was severely injured. The private security guard was providing security services for a movie that was being made in the downtown area. The security guard was sitting on his motorcycle watching the crowd when he was hit by a vehicle from behind. Police are still investigating the accident and the private security guard was taken to the hospital for his injuries.

In Nashville police arrested a burglary still inside a Nashville home. The suspect was seen by a neighbor going into the Nashville home wearing gloves and a hat and also carrying a backpack. The neighbor contacted the Nashville police. Once the Nashville officers arrived they saw the man come out of the home but he saw the Nashville officers and went back inside and locked the door. The suspect though did surrender to the Nashville police a short time later and admitted he was stealing the owners prescription pills. The Nashville officers also found a crowbar inside the suspects backpack. The suspect was arrested and taken to a Nashville jail.

Police in Knoxville believe they have caught two suspects connected to at least twenty burglaries. Knoxville police officers had watched a vehicle drive into a parking lot of a local business and then drive out minutes later. Knoxville dispatch then advised them an alarm was going off from that business. The Knoxville officers confirmed the business had been burglarized and chased after the suspects. Once they had pulled the vehicle over they found the two suspects with a pry bar, crow bar and items that had been stolen from the business. Knoxville officers say the suspects admitted to the robbery and they both have long criminal records involving theft and burglary. Both suspects were arrested and taken to a Knoxville jail.

March 20, 2014: A private security guard in Virginia was seriously injured. The private security guard was not working for his contract security firm the night he pulled over to help another person who's vehicle broke down. As the security guard was on the side of the road helping the other person another vehicle ran off the road due to icy conditions and crashed into the back of the private security guard's SUV. The crash caused the security guard's vehicle to move forward and it pinned the private security guard between his vehicle and the disabled vehicle. The private security guard was taken to a hospital where he ended up having to have his legs amputated. No charges have been filed against the other driver. The private security guard company has not yet made any comments regarding their security officer's condition.

An unarmed security guard in Australia was attacked. The private security guard was working at a hospital and had been called to the emergency room because a man was causing a disturbance. As the security guard was trying to escort the man out of the hospital the man turned around and punched the private security guard in the face. The man and the security guard started struggling and again the man punched the guard in the face. Finally the private security guard was able to detain the man. The private security guard received cuts to his face and a broken nose. The security guard was treated at the hospital.

The Nashville police are searching for a man who robbed two stores within minutes. The suspect first entered a Nashville pharmacy and acted like he was going to buy some candy as the clerk had the cash register open the suspect lunged across the counter and grabbed the money, injuring the clerk in the process and left the store empty handed. Minutes later the suspect entered a food store and again acted like he was buying candy and this time when the clerk opened the register he was able to grab some cash and left the scene. The Nashville police do have video surveillance showing a good picture of the suspect and the Nashville police are hoping the public can help identify him.

A private security guard has been charged with murder in California. The security guard was upset that his security supervisor at the private security guard company he works for suspended the security officer for bringing his girlfriend to work with him. There is not allot of information available as to what happened other than the private security guard shot his security supervisor during a robbery attempt outside of an apartment complex. The private security guard is being charged with first degree residential burglary, murder and being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm along with three counts of vandalism. The contract security guard company has not made any comments on the security supervisors death or the private security guard's arrest.

A man in Nashville was killed in his own driveway late Tuesday night. The victim and his cousin had arrived home and were unloading the car when two armed and masked men approached them. One of the suspects grabbed the victim from behind while the other suspect threatened to shoot his cousin. The cousin was able to run away and as he did he heard a gunshot. The suspects fled the Nashville home on foot. The Nashville police were called to the scene by a neighbor and a witness. The Nashville police are still investigating.

March 19, 2014: In Nashville this morning the weather was cold but as the day progressed it actually turned out to be a beautiful, sunny day in Nashville.

A private security guard in Pennsylvania was attacked. The armed security officer was working for the subway trains and was alerted by passengers that a man was threatening other passengers saying he was going to shoot them. When the security guard confronted the suspect the man started attacking the private security guard and was able to grab the private security guard's weapon. Two passengers were able to help the security officer by holding the man while the private security guard recovered from his attack. The suspect though was able to get away from the passengers and tried to grab a child but was unsuccessful. Other private security guards arrived and helped get the suspect under control. Police were called and the man was arrested. The private security guard was not seriously injured in the attack.

A private security guard in Washington helped save a man who was on fire. The victim suffered severe burns to his chest, arms and back after a helicopter crashed into his car and burst into flames. The victim was able to get himself out of the burning wreckage but was still on fire. The private security guard witnessed the crash and ran to help the victim. The security guard tried using his hands to put the fire out but that did not work so the private security guard took off his jacket and was able to get the flames out. The victim was breathing but struggling and the private security guard stayed by his side and tried to talk to him until the paramedics arrived. The victim was taken to a hospital with severe burn injuries and there is no information available at this time if the private security guard was injured helping the victim.

A man in Knoxville was attacked in his own home. The victim was asleep in the early morning hours Wednesday when a loud noise woke him up. A man appeared in his bedroom and pointed a gun at him demanding money, then two other men came in and pointed there weapons at him also. The suspects were looking for money and one of them hit the man over the head with his gun while the other two started searching the Knoxville home for money. The victim was able to escape out a window while they were searching and he ran to a neighbors house and contacted the Knoxville police. The victim told the Knoxville police he had been bragging about winning allot of money from scratch out lottery tickets. The suspects were able to escape and the Knoxville police are still investigating. The victim was treated at the scene by Knoxville paramedics for his injuries.

A Nashville middle school was shot at with a high powered BB gun. The Nashville police arrived at the Nashville middle school located on Colemont Drive and found windows shattered and a bus that had been shot at. Nashville officers found over ten cartridges on the school grounds. Luckily the kids have been out of school since Tuesday on spring break. There were no injuries and the Nashville police are still investigating.

The Knoxville Sheriff's office is warning their community about a phone scam. The callers are pretending to be a detective or a lieutenant with the Knoxville County Sheriff's Office and telling the victims that they did not show up for jury duty and threatens to issue a warrant for their arrest if they do not pay a fine. The caller tells the victims which most of the time are elderly they have to buy a green dot card and then give him the numbers from it. The Knoxville police say the suspect has changed his number sixty times. The Knoxville police are still investigating.

A man in Knoxville was arrested last night after the Knoxville police received a tip. The suspect was on Tennessee's Bureau of Investigations most wanted list for a deadly robbery in 2012. The suspect was taken into custody at a Knoxville home and is being charged with felony murder, attempted aggravated robbery and conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery. The suspect is currently in a Knoxville jail awaiting extradition.

March 18, 2014: Private security guards in Pennsylvania will now be armed security officers. The school district will now have to set new policies after the school board voted to have their private security guards armed with guns. The private security guards will be able to access all six of the districts schools but the security officers will mainly be at the middle and high schools. Some of the decision that have to be made will be what type of gun the security guards will use and what exactly will warrant use of force.

A private security guard in Virginia is suing his contract security guard company. The unarmed private security guard was placed on post at an ammunition plant and he alleges that his white co-workers used a white sheet and a noose to intimidate him. The private security guard in African American. The security guard continues to work at the plant and the contract security guard company has not yet made any comments regarding the lawsuit.

Nashville police were called out to a shooting in northeast Nashville. A woman, her boyfriend and a male friend were pulling into the woman's driveway when they were followed by another vehicle. Three people with guns and wearing bandanas confronted the victims and told them they were the police. The woman was able to run into her home and she called the Nashville police. The other two male victims were told to take off their clothes and give the suspects all their belongings. The suspects were then able to flee the scene but two of the suspects were captured by the Nashville police a couple of minutes later the third suspect escaped the area on foot. The Nashville police are still searching for the third suspect while the other two suspects are currently in a Nashville jail.

March 17, 2014: Happy St. Patrick's Day from everyone at On Guard Security!!!

A private security guard in Knoxville has been arrested. A witness had contacted the Knoxville police after they saw someone pointing at gun at another person. When the Knoxville police came to the area they saw a man driving a car and swerving all over the road and the Knoxville officer's pulled the security guard over. The private security guard smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot eyes. When the security guard started speaking with the Knoxville officer's his slurred his words. The armed security guard also failed the sobriety test the Knoxville officer's made him do and also the security guard had a loaded gun in his vehicle. The Knoxville police arrested the security guard and charged him with drunk driving. The private security guard works for the Knoxville school system and has since been placed on paid leave until the investigation is complete.

In Kentucky a man stabbed two teenagers early Sunday morning. The suspect and the victims were on a public transportation bus when the suspect just started stabbing a thirteen year old girl and a fourteen year old boy. The suspect was then able to leave the bus and ran away from the scene. The police though were able to find him about a half a mile away. The suspect was arrested and is currently in jail. The boy is in grave condition at a local hospital and there is no information available as to the girl's condition. Police are still investigating what happened.

A private security guard in California shot himself. The armed security guard was working at a marijuana dispensary. The police had responded to a call regarding shots being fired Friday night and when they arrived the found the security guard with a gunshot wound to his foot. Police say that for some reason the private security guard took his weapon out and shot himself. The security officer was taken to the hospital for his injury. The police are going to submit the case to the district attorney for reckless discharge of a firearm. The contract security guard company that employees this armed security officer have not yet made any comments regarding the shooting.

An unarmed security guard in Georgia was attacked by a man. The suspect had started the day with robbing s dollar store and leading the police on a chase through a different county before he stopped and ran into a mall. The suspect then tried to hide inside a clothing store inside the mall, he grabbed some clothes and quickly changed in one of the dressing rooms. An alert private security guard for the clothing store watched as the suspect ran inside and when he came out of the dressing room the security officer tried to stop him. The suspect though hit the private security guard in the face, but she quickly recovered from the hit and along with another private security guard was able to get the man under control and held him for the police. The suspect was found with a weapon which police believed to be a gun, but it was actually a BB gun. The private security guard received minor injuries to her face but is going to be okay.

Nashville police are still searching for suspects who robbed a pharmacy early this morning. Five suspects wearing masks broke into the pharmacy on Trousdale Lane near Harding Place in Nashville by breaking a window. Four of the suspects took medication while the other suspect took the money from the cash register. Nashville police think the suspects had a car waiting for them because the Nashville police called in their K9 unit come out to the scene to track the suspects. The police dog was only able to track them into the parking lot. The Nashville pharmacy is still trying to figure out what medicine was taken and how much money is missing. The investigation is ongoing.

The Nashville police have shut down three business this afternoon. The Nashville businesses all had been selling a liquid for $10.00 a shot that contained a psychoactive drug that has been banned in the state of Tennessee. One of the businesses is located on Robinson Road the other two businesses were on Gallatin Pike. The Nashville police have declared the businesses a public nuisance. The psychoactive drug can cause delusions and hallucinations. While the Nashville police were there they found out more of the bottles were at two wholesale warehouses in Nashville. One of the warehouses is located on Fernco Drive the other on Dickerson Pike in Nashville. The Nashville police found over four thousand bottles at the Nashville warehouses. The Nashville businesses will remain closed until March 24, they will have to go before a Nashville judge who will decide the future of the businesses.

March 16, 2014: A private security guard was shot and killed Friday night in Arizona. The security guard was actually off-duty at a local bar and was helping the private security guards for the bar close up and assist the customers out. One of the customers tried to leave the bar with a bottle of liquor and the off-duty security officer told the man he could not leave with the bottle and to put it down. The man became angry and the suspect and two of his friends started fighting with the private security guard. One of these men pulled out and gun and shot the security guard and then fled the scene. Police are still searching for the suspects and the private security guard died at the hospital later that night. The other private security guards for the bar were not injured.

A man in Knoxville, Tennessee was shot overnight. The victim had gone out to get some dinner for his family and returned home. When the victim was getting out of his pickup truck someone shot the man multiple times. Knoxville police ended up driving the victim to a Knoxville hospital were he later died from his injuries. Knoxville police are still investigating but they say they still need assistance from any witnesses.

A private security guard in North Carolina was killed while on duty. The only information available at this time is that the private security guards was on duty at a local lounge club when a fight broke out. The private security guard was shot and died at the scene. The police have interviewed witnesses and a possible suspect but no charges have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing. The private security guard company that employed this security officer have not yet made any comments regarding her death.

A shooting in downtown Nashville last night has left one man dead. Nashville police were patrolling the streets in downtown Nashville when they heard gunshots. When the Nashville officers went to investigate they found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim died at the scene from his wounds. There is no more information available at this time as the Nashville police are still investigating.

March 15, 2014: It is such a warm beautiful day in Nashville today. The highs will be in the 60's and the sun is shining bright, a great day for fishing. Early Sunday morning though storms are making there way into Nashville. Heavy rain is expected all day and the temperature is expected to drop throughout the day.

A private security guard in Ohio was attacked by shoplifters. The unarmed security officer was working his day shift at a local retail store when he a man and a woman stealing pens and as the two suspects tried to walk out the door the security officer stopped them. Once confronted by the private security guard the woman jumped on his back while the male suspect started punching the security guard in his face. The two suspects then left the store and drove away. There is no information available regarding the private security injuries. The two suspects though turned themselves in the next day and will face robbery charges.

A private security guard shot and killed a man at his home in Washington. The private security guard was asleep inside his home along with his girlfriend and four children. The man was banging on his door and trying to enter the armed security guards home. The security officer was woken up by the noise and shot the man as he tried to enter. The man's family feel he was drunk and tried to enter the security guards house by mistake. The man had a stepbrother that lived around the corner from the private security guard's house. The police are still investigating and waiting for toxicology reports. In the meanwhile the private security guard has hired a lawyer who has been in contact with the prosecutors office. The private security guard and his family were not injured.

A man in Knoxville, Tennessee was shot in his own backyard. Knoxville police officers heard shots being fired in the afternoon hours on Friday and when they went to investigate they found the victim. The victim had been shot in both of his hands and was not able to give the Knoxville officers any information. All the victim told the Knoxville officers was that he was in his backyard when he was shot. The Knoxville officers were not able to locate any witnesses and feel the shooting was random. The victim was taken to a Knoxville hospital for his injuries.

A private security guard in New Jersey is battling breast cancer for the second time. The unarmed security guard has taken a leave of absence from the private security guard company that employees her and the elementary school she was working at. The elementary school will be holding a dinner to raise money for the private security guard's treatment. The private security guard company she works for has not yet made any comments regarding their security guard's condition.

In Nashville an ex-soldier has graduated from the Nashville police academy. The solider was stationed in Afghanistan in 2011 and was a k-9 handler who searched for explosives. One day the solider stepped on a IED and was seriously injured. The solider had his left leg amputated below the knee, suffered a brain injury and had shrapnel strike his back and right leg. The ten weeks of training with the Nashville police was grueling he says but worth it. The solider was among eighty new officers to graduate from the Nashville police academy this Friday. The solider was even elected class president by his fellow officer's. The new officer will be accepting a police position with the Portland, Tennessee police department.

Private security guards for a retail store in Michigan were threatened. The private security guards watched as two suspects tried to walk out of the store with a shopping cart full of tablets, televisions and other items. The older suspect was stopped by the private security guards while the younger suspect was able to flee the scene. Once the security guards had taken the suspect into their security office to wait for the police the boy picked up some scissors and threatened to kill the security guards. The boy was able to run from the office to a vehicle that was waiting outside. As the private security guards chased the boy outside the younger suspect jumped out of the vehicle and pointed a gun at the security guards. The private security guards backed off and the suspects fled the scene. The suspects were arrested a short time later and the police found a airsoft toy gun in the vehicle. None of the private security guards were injured.

A man in Knoxville, Tennessee chose the wrong time to shoplift. The suspect had gone into a clothing store and tried to steal over $1,300 of items by putting them into a bag and running out of the store, setting of the alarm. An off-duty Knoxville police officer was inside the store at the time shopping with his girlfriend. Once the alarm went off the officer chased the suspect outside and was able to arrested him. The man is currently in a Knoxville jail.

A private security guard in California was attacked by two men. The unarmed security guard was working for a retail store and has watched as two men tried to steal some HD storage cards. Once the private security guard confronted the men they started attacking the security officer and then escaped out the front door. The private security guard received injuries to his face that required stitches but is expected to be okay. Local police were later able to arrest the suspects and recover the merchandise.

A child in Nashville is facing charges after he brought a pellet gun to school. The boy was seen waving the gun outside of a classroom of a local middle school in Nashville. Many of the students thought it was a real weapon and were scared. The boy was able to leave the school on his bike. In the meanwhile the middle school was placed on lockdown and the Nashville police were called. The school's principle sent out an alert to most of the parents advising them of the situation. One of the students says the school did not do enough to protect them. The students were never told to hide or be sent somewhere safe. The boy was caught a short time later and has been charged by the Nashville police with aggravated assaults.

A private security guard in New Jersey was hit by a vehicle. The unarmed security guard was working for a local retail store when he tried to stop a man after he stole a coffee maker. The suspect was able to flee the store and get into his vehicle. As the security guard was chasing him the suspect put his vehicle into reverse and struck the security guard with his vehicle and fled the scene. A tip to local police led to the suspect being arrested a day later. The private security guard suffered minor injuries in the accident. The private security guard company that employees this private security guard has not yet made any comments regarding his unarmed security guard's injuries.

March 13, 2014: A private security guard in Florida was injured while on duty. The private security guard was working for a strip club when a professional football player came in. The private security guards called the police after the football player got into a fight with another man. The football player punched, kicked and head butted the other man. The private security guard was also punched by the football player after he tried to break up the fight. The football player was arrested. The private security guard was not seriously injured.

A private security guard in Wisconsin has been arrested. The private security guard is being accused of being an accomplice in two armed robberies at a dollar store he was supposed to be protecting as a security guard. At the first robbery the suspect came into the dollar store with his face covered and put a knife to the clerk's head and demanded she open the register. The suspect then fled the store. The private security guard on duty at the time told the police he was helping customers in the back of the dollar store. The second robbery occurred twelve days later and this time the suspect came in with a gun and pressed it on the side of the manager and pushed her towards the cash register. At this time a clerk had the register open as she was handing cash back to a customer. The manager told the clerk to hand the suspect the money from the register. The suspect then fled the scene again. Local detectives were able to get a fingerprint from the last crime scene and were able to find the suspect and arrest him. After reviewing video surveillance it showed that during each robbery the suspect made a call right before he robbed the dollar stores. Those phone calls led the police to the private security guard and when the private security guard was arrested his phone shows text messages between the suspect and the private security guard. The private security guard finally admitted to his participation in the robberies. The private security guard company that employees the security guard has not made any comments regarding his arrest.

A man in Nashville has been arrested after trying to bribe a Nashville police officer. The suspect was speeding down Franklin Pike when he was pulled over by the officer. The suspect told the officer he was just trying to get home after a trip to Alabama. The police officer was nice and let him go. Then five minutes later the police officer saw the man speeding down the same road again. This time when the police officer pulled the man he over smelled alcohol on the mans breath and called in a DUI officer and it was determined the man was drunk. Once he was arrested and put in the police vehicle on his was to jail, the suspect begged the officer to take him home and even offered the officer $200.00 to do so. The officer refused that request and the man was taken to a Nashville jail.

A private security guard in New York was killed while outside her home. In New York there was a huge gas explosion that injured many and killed over seven people. The private security guard was outside her building when the explosion occurred and was instantly killed. The private security guard was a well-liked security officer for a college campus and is survived by her son and the security guards mother who was also injured in the explosion. This private security guard had received many awards for her outstanding security service to the college campus. The president of the campus is saying that the private security guard was a respected officer and students and staff loved her. The campus will have grief counselors on site to help the staff and students and any grieving members of the community to help understand and deal with the death of the private security guard. The private security guards supervisor is saying that this security officer was the best officer he has ever worked with and they are still trying to come to terms with the private security guards death. The private security guard was just given the title of sergeant last year and has been with the private security guard company for four years.

March 12, 2014: A private security guard was injured in Florida. The private security guard was driving his security vehicle in the early morning hours when the suspect collided with the security vehicle. The suspect then got out of his vehicle and ran from the scene. Police were able to find the suspect hiding nearby and arrested him. The private security guard suffered minor injuries but the security guard is expected to be okay.

A private security guard in Indiana helped a child. The private security guard was working for a local grocery store when he heard loud noises coming from one of the checkout lanes. When the private security guard got to the area he saw a mother screaming at her ten-year-old child and then the mother hit the girl. The private security guard told the mother to stop and she refused. The woman just kept screaming now at the private security guard. The security officer contacted the police and child protective services. The mother was arrested and sentenced to ten days in jail. The child was given to relatives. The private security guard was not injured.

A private security guard in Ohio had to detain a disruptive man. The private security guard was working for city hall providing security services at the metal detector station. The suspect was there doing community service and had to keep going thru the metal detector numerous times and that made him angry. After awhile the suspect became very upset and started cursing and banging on walls. When the private security guard tried to calm him down the man pushed the private security guard to the ground and the private security guard and the suspect started struggling. The private security guard was able to get the man under control and contacted the police. The private security guard was not injured.

A private security guard in Canada was stabbed. Two private security guards were patrolling a shopping center and were in the process of trying to detain a shoplifting suspect. During the struggle between the suspect and the private security guards the suspect stabbed one of the security guards in the leg. That did not stop the private security guards and they were able to get the man under control and in custody. The private security guard was transported to the hospital for his injuries.

March 11, 2014: What a beautiful day is it in Nashville, actually hot today. Tomorrow the temperatures are supposed to drop drastically. Nashville will be down in the low 20's by Wednesday evening. Seems like winter just does not want to go away. This weather is definitely crazy in Nashville.

Two private security guards in California had to shoot at robbery suspects. The armed security guards were patrolling a shopping center when they spotted the suspects breaking into a vehicle and trying to steal it. As the suspects were trying to flee the scene they pointed a weapon at the private security guards and even tried to run them over with the stolen vehicle. Both of the private security guards fired at the suspects but they were able to escape the scene. The private security guards were not injured and it is not yet known if any of the private security guards bullets hit the suspects. Police are still investigating the incident.

A private security guard in California has been sentenced to three years in prison. The private security company that employees this security guard had placed him at a psychiatric hospital for work. A fourteen-year-old girl had been admitted to the hospital by her family for having suicide thoughts and she previously had hallucinations. The private security guard was left alone with the young girl for over and hour and a half. During this time the private security guard forced the young girl to perform sexual acts on him. Then gave the girl his phone number and the private security guard started exchanging text messages with her. The girl and the private security guard even met again in the hospital parking lot and had sex again, then the private security guard dropped the girl off at her middle school. Once the girl's parents found out what was going on they contacted the police and the private security guard was arrested. Now the family is suing the hospital, security guard and the private security guard company that employed him. The lawsuit is still pending. The private security guard company has not made any comments regarding this situation.

Private security guards for a club in South Carolina shot a man. The private security guards heard shots being fired outside the club in the early morning hours. The armed security guards had their weapons out while they searched the parking lot of the club. The private security guards saw two men standing next to a vehicle and one of them had a gun in his hand. The private security guards ordered the man to put his weapon down. The man refused the private security guards order and that is when the private security guards opened fire on the man. The suspect was hit by the private security guards bullets and was taken to the hospital for his wounds. The other man that was there was also grazed by a bullet but he refused any treatment. The private security guards were not injured. As of today no one has been charged with anything but the police are still investigating.

A man in Memphis, Tennessee was shot trying to sell his car. The victim had met with several men at his apartment complex in Memphis on Sunday evening. Instead of selling his vehicle to the men, they shot him and they stole his car. Witnesses in the complex told the Memphis police they saw the vehicle speeding thru the complex as they were leaving. The victim was taken to a Memphis hospital for his wound and the Memphis police are still investigating.

A man in Nashville stabbed his friend over a fight. The Nashville police were called out to a house on 12th Avenue in Nashville and they found the victim with stab wounds. When the Nashville police asked the victim what happened he told them he had gotten into a fight with a friend over a television remote. The Nashville police found the suspect walking down 11th Avenue in Nashville still holding the knife and the remote. The Nashville officer told the suspect to drop the knife and he did. When the Nashville officer picked up the knife from the found it still had dried blood on it. The suspect was arrested and his currently in a Nashville jail. The victim was taken to a Nashville hospital for his injuries which are considered critical.

March 10, 2014: A private security guard in New Jersey shot a man multiple times. There is not much information available as to if the private security guard was on duty or not at the time, but the security guard was inside a local restaurant when the shooting took place. Two men started fighting and the suspect shot the man in the leg and the armed security officer shot the suspect multiple times. The suspect was able to get away but was later arrested at a hospital after he went there to get treatment for his injuries. The private security guard was not injured in the shooting.

A private security guard in South Carolina receives and award for saving a man's life. The security guard has work at a local resort for over eleven years and has the private security guard has come to enjoy her work and takes the time to get to know the vacationers. One evening the private security guard received a call for assistance and found a groups of friends and relatives surrounding a man who had collapsed and rolled under a vehicle. The security guard was surprised when she got to the man because she had gotten to know him and he told her his job made him take the vacation to relax. The man was unresponsive and not breathing when the private security guard pulled him from under the vehicle and started CPR. For over four minutes while they waited for an ambulance she continued to do the CPR and by the time paramedics arrived the private security guard had gotten the man to start breathing again. The victim was taken to the hospital and later transported back home to Germany. The private security guard received an award for outstanding officer of the year form the resort and the security guard still keeps in touch with the victim. The private security guard says her security training and her faith is what allowed her to keep performing CPR even though it wore the security guard out.

A private security guard in Arizona has been removed from her post. The private security guard was working at a local middle school and was involved in a show and tell for an eight grade class. During the event the private security guard was showing the students how a stun gun works and had pushed the button which shows if the stun gun was working, then for some reason the private security guard pulled the trigger and one of the two probes hit an fourteen-year-old girl in the ar. The other hit the wall. There was no electric current going to the one which hit the student but she did have to go to the hospital to have the probe removed. The private security guard was removed from the school while the police are still investigating.

A young man in Nashville was arrested after bring a gun into school. Nashville police arrived at the local high school after receiving a tip from another student about the weapon. The seventeen-year-old boy had placed the gun inside a friend's unlocked car which was on school property. The student told the Nashville police that he did not mean to bring it to school and when he realized he had it, he did not take it into school. Also he told the Nashville police he bought the semi-automatic simply for status. There is no information available at this time as to whether the boy is still currently in a Nashville jail.

A man from Nolensville, Tennessee has been charged with manslaughter in the death of a Knoxville, Tennessee man. The two men were in Florida at the time at it is not yet known if they knew each other. The Nolensville man struck the Knoxville man's vehicle after driving drunk. The Knoxville man was ejected from the vehicle and taken to a Florida hospital where he later died. The Nolensville's man was arrested and is currently in a Florida jail.

A private security guard in West Virginia captured a shoplifter. The private security guard was on post at a retail store when he spotted a woman putting over six thousand in jewelry into her purse. The woman then just started walking out of the store without paying and the private security guard was able to stop and detain her until the local police arrived. The private security guard was not injured in the incident.

March 9, 2014: A private security guard in Massachusetts got into an altercation with a firefighter. The private security guard was working at a local hospital when the firefighter had come to the hospital looking for his son. The firefighter's son was trying run out of the hospital and the hospital's staff had to restrain him. That is when the father tried to stop the staff from restraining his son and hospital security guard had to be called. Once the private security guard arrived to assist the staff the father turned on the security guard and a struggled between to the started. The father was eventually taken into custody by the private security guard and the police were called. The private security guard did not receive any injuries.

A private security guard Cookeville, Tennessee was injured while on duty. The private security guard was working Friday evening at a bar when he tried to break up an altercation that had started inside the bar. All of a sudden the private security guard gets hit over the head with a beer bottle. Local police were called to the bar and a witness was able to point out the man who hit the private security guard. The suspect told the police he does remember trying to help a friend who was involved in the altercation but he does not remember hitting the private security guard with the beer bottle. The private security guard had to be taken to the hospital for his injuries.

An armed private security guard in Florida held a suspect at gunpoint. The security guard was working inside a local social security office when the suspect came inside in his wheelchair. After the man spoke with workers there he became angry and started threatening everyone and telling them he had a gun. The private security guard pulled out his own weapon and advised the man to not move again after he stood up and continued with his threats. When the police arrived they found that the man had a loaded handgun inside his bag. The private security guard was not injured. The man is currently in jail.

March 8, 2014: What a beautiful day it is in Nashville today. The sun is shining and the temperatures are in the high 60's. I hope everyone has a chance to get out and enjoy since our winter started early and has been hanging around awhile. The saying in Nashville is if you don't like the weather just wait it will change during the day.

A private security guard in Michigan may face misdemeanor charges. The private security guard works as a security officer for a local hospital. A teenager, his sister and mother had come into the emergency room for treatment for the boy who was having stomach pains. The family was unhappy with the staff and decided to go to another hospital. There is not much information as to how a fight started between the teenager and the security guard but it did. The boy is saying the private security guard put him in a choke hold and started beating him. The other hospital the family went to says the boy had a severe concussion. The private security guard was also injured in a struggle with the boy as they fell to the ground. So far the investigation shows that the boy has given different versions of the incident and has bemen in trouble with the law allot of times. The private security guard is saying that the boy was very combative and he did what he had to do to control the situation. There is video surveillance from the hospital and police are hoping that it will help them figure out exactly what had occurred.

A private security guard in Jackson, Tennessee has been sentenced to a year in prison. The unarmed security guard was working for a hotel providing security services. A religious academy were staying in the hotel overnight and had left there religious books, their bible and musical instruments in there room. The private security guard found the items and has admitted to writing profanities and spitting on their religious items. The private security will got to prison for civil rights violation. and the judge has also the security guard to pay the religious academy $9,999.99 in restitution. The private security guard company who employed this private security guard has not made any comments regarding this situation.

A man in Knoxville, Tennessee has been arrested for theft and aggravated assault. The man had walked into a local grocery store and stole four detergent pods before leaving the store. The manager followed the suspect out of the store and tried to confront him but the suspect pointed a gun at the manager and threatened to shoot him. The manager backed off and the suspect was able to flee the scene in a truck. The police searched the area and found the suspect. He had in his possession a toy handgun that the police feel he used in the robbery.

Private security guards in Nashville caught a man stealing. The private security guards were working at a retail store on Nolensville Road and watched as a man stole eleven clothing items and stuff them down his pants. Once the private security guards stopped the man he gave the security guards the items. Nashville police were called in and they arrested the suspect. He is currently in a Nashville jail.

March 7, 2014: A private security guard in Minnesota has been given the highest award from the Chicago police. The private security guard had been working the front door at a local bar when the a man had come to the bar holding a gun. The security guard was not about to let the man inside and the security guard tried to calm him down. The private security guard started talking to him and asked to what was wrong. The suspect though told the unarmed security guard that he needed to move and raised the weapon toward the security guard. That is when the private security guard rushed at the suspect and during a struggle with him the gun went off two times. Luckily no one was struck by the bullets. Police were called and the suspect was arrested. The police chief awarded the private security guard with the chief's award for valor.

A private security guard in Illinois has been arrested for impersonating a police officer. The private security guard had entered the civic center in downtown Chicago dressed in body armor and a blur uniform. The private security guard approached a sheriff's deputy and told him he wanted to sign in his weapon. The armed security guard showed the deputy his handgun that was on his hip, covered by his jacket. The sheriff's deputy realized he was not a police officer and took the private security guard into custody. When the security guard was searched he was found to have a knife, pepper spray, baton, handcuffs and fifteen 40 caliber bullets. The private security guard is employed by a private security guard company but only as an unarmed security officer. This private security guard has previously been charged and convicted in 2011 with possessing/carrying a firearm. The private security guard company that employees this security officer has not yet made any comments on his arrest.

A six-month-old child has been injured in Murfreesboro, TN. The parents were driving down New Salem Highway when they passed a vehicle that was driving to slow. The father of the child says a little while later the vehicle started tailgating them. All of a sudden there back window was shattered. Murfreesboro police believe the driver of the vehicle threw a bottle at the family's car, breaking their window. The child suffered cuts to his face and was taken to a local hospital for his injuries. Murfreesboro police are still investigating the incident.

March 6, 2014: A private security guard was shot and killed in Michigan. The security guard was working for a local pharmacy when three men came inside and started acting strange. Another of the pharmacy's private security officers has tried to stop the men after they stole some items and ran outside. The private security guard came to help his fellow security officer and was shot in the neck. After an extensive search all three suspects have been arrested and are currently in jail. The other private security guard was not injured.

A private security guard was hit by a suspects vehicle. The unarmed security guard was working his daily shift at a retail clothing store and watched as three people were stealing purses and clothing items. The suspects did not try to hide the fact they were stealing they just grabbed the items and walked out the front door and got into a car. As the private security guard followed them outside the driver of the vehicle aimed the car at the private security guard and struck the private security guard. Police responding to a call for assistance were able to stop the vehicle and arrest the suspects. The private security guard was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

Numerous calls had been made to the warehouse advising them that a bomb was going to go off. The warehouse was evacuated every time they received the call but there was never any bombs found. After an investigation local police have determined that the calls were being made by the private security guard employed there. March 5, 2014: A private security guard in South Carolina was stabbed. The private security guard was working at a nightclub when two men became disruptive inside the club. When the private security guard approached the men one of them stabbed the private security guard. Both men were arrested by the police and the private security guard was taken to the hospital where he is in stable condition.

A private security guard in Oklahoma was killed. The private security guard was working his normal post this weekend at a local cub. Several men had been asked to leave the club for fighting and one of the men made a death threat against the private security guard. Several minutes after the men left the nightclub a car drove up and started shooting at the front area of the club. The private security guard was standing by the front door and was killed instantly by their bullets. Local police are still investigating the shooting.

The weather in Nashville today is cold but at least this ice has started to melt. Nashville public schools remained closed again today due to some back roads are still slick. March 4, 2014: A private security guard company and two of their private security guards are being sued by a former model. The private security guard company had sent their security guards to work for a local club. The woman, boyfriend, and a cousin had gone to the club to celebrate a birthday. The private security guards kicked two of the men out of the club for being to drunk and the security guards has contacted the police. When the police were putting the men into their patrol car the boyfriend started taking video on his cellphone and that made one of the private security guards mad. The private security guard took of his jacket and started talking smack to the boyfriend and that is when the woman started taking video on her cellphone and the security guard slapped her phone to the ground. The woman flailed her arms and screaming and another private security guard allegedly punched her in her face. The woman was taken to the hospital with a gash over her eye that required five stitches. The two private security guards were arrested. The woman says she can no longer model due to the injuries and is suing the security guard company for one million in damages. The private security guard company is stating that there is video surveillance to dispute the woman's claims and the security guard company is not making any comments on whether their private security guards were fired.

A citizen in Columbia, Tennessee helped police with locating an armed robber. The suspect had gone into a local convenience store with a gun and demanded money from the owner of the store. The suspect had a gun wrapped in a towel but she never pointed it at the owner. The suspect fled the store with cash and as she was leaving a customer pulled up to the convenience store and followed the woman to her home. The customer contacted the Columbia police and the woman was arrested. She is currently in a Maury County jail.

In Nashville a woman escaped injuries after being shot at. The woman was leaving her Nashville home when she saw a vehicle parked across the street. The suspect got out and just started shooting at her and the Nashville home. The woman was able to get back inside her house and called the Nashville police. The woman knew the shooter and told the officer's it was her friends son. Nashville police found six shell casings in front of the Nashville home. Other people were in the home at the time of the shooting. No one was injured. The suspect was arrested and is currently in a Nashville jail.

In Knoxville, Tennessee a Knox County school bus was involved in a accident. Over a dozen students were on the bus when it was involved in an accident with a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Knox County Sheriff's office, paramedics along with the schools private security officers had all responded to the accident. At this time there is no information available as to injuries the children may have suffered.

March 3, 2014: What a horrible morning in Nashville. The roads are covered with ice and snow and the temperature is in the teens. It took me quite awhile to drive to On Guard Security offices and I thankfully made it safe and sound. While others are told to stay home, a private security guard company never shuts down. It is recommended that if you can to stay off the roads today it is very dangerous out there. Unfortunately private security guards do not have that option.

A private security guard was attack Saturday. The private security guard was working at a local club when the security guard would not let a man back into the club. There is no information available as to why the private security guard would not let him back in. Yet he did not and that made the man mad so he sprayed pepper spray into the security guards face. The man was held by other private security guards for the club until the police arrived. Other customers of the club started fleeing the business due to the pepper spray. Paramedics were called out but no one needed medical attention. Even the private security guards were not injured.

A private security guard in New York was attacked by a man. The private security guard was working security for a local casino when he was contacted by staff because a man was causing a disturbance inside the casino. Once the private security guard approached the suspect and asked him to leave he refused. The suspect became angry and hit a casino employee, making his mouth bleed. The private security guard tried to remove him from the business and got punched in the face by the man. There is no other information available at this time as to the outcome of the incident or whether the private security guard needed any medical attention.

A private security guard is being investigated for texting a shoplifter he detained. The unarmed security guard was working for a clothing store when he stop the woman and detained her for shoplifting from the store. The police had come and arrested the woman for shoplifting but the case did not stop there. The private security guard has been arrested also after the police say he started texting the woman and telling her that having sex with him was the only way of avoiding any prosecution. Local police are asking the public if anyone else had been harassed and threatened by this private security guard. The security guard company that employees this private security guard has not yet made any comments regarding the accusations or arrest of their security officer.

In Nashville Sunday night an auto parts store was robbed. A masked man entered the Nashville auto parts store n Gallatin pike and demanded money at gunpoint. The clerk gave the suspect the money and he fled the store. The Nashville police are still investigating. There is video surveillance of the robbery and the Nashville police are certain it will lead to the arrest of the suspect.

March 2, 2014: In Nashville this morning the weather is really mild it's in the low 60's but as the day continues the weather is about to get bad. Nashville forecasters are calling for rain that will change over to sleet and ice and possibly a little snow by this evening and the temperatures will be dropping overnight. To all the private security guards or anyone else that will have to work overnight please be careful and drive cautiously. Nashville will be in the single digits by early Monday morning.

A private security guard in Florida was threatened by a suspect. The unarmed security guard was working inside a local clothing store and had spotted a woman stealing high-end purses from the store. The private security guard detained her and had contacted the police. While the suspect and the private security guard were waiting outside the store for the police to arrive a car sped into the parking lot just feet from where the suspect and private security guard were standing. A man jumped out of the vehicle, goes to the trunk of the car and takes out a hammer and tells the private security guard he better not move. When the male suspect was threatening the private security guard with the hammer the female suspect was able to get into the passenger side of the car. The male suspect then rips off his license plate and they were able to take off in their vehicle. The private security guard was not injured and the security guard says that attacks with blunt objects is not a common thing. When the private security guard was questioned by news reporters who asked him how it should be handle, the private security guard told them that security officers are trained to handle different situations and in this case it is to back off immediately and take a moment to assess the situation. The private security guard states that every second matters in making the right decisions.

A private security guard was surprised while working. The private security guard was driving through a parking lot on his regular evening shift patrolling the area. All of a sudden the private security guard sees four cars pull in and several men get out and just start fighting each other while other men are trying to stop the fight. When the private security guard pulled his security vehicle up to the men and get them off the secured lot a shootout started. One of the men was struck in the head. The private security guard contacted the police and when they arrived they were able to get the situation under control. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he is in stable condition. A man in California has been sentenced to two years in prison for assaulting a private security guard. The private security guard was patrolling on foot a courthouse in the early morning hours when he heard a noise. A group of men had been vandalizing a guard house that was next to the federal courthouse. When the suspects saw the private security guard all but two of the fled the scene on foot. A struggle between the two remaining suspects and the private security guard started and one of the suspects tried to grab the private security guards flashlight and the other man attacked the private security guard with a stun gun. The private security guard was knocked to the ground and the stun gun was used on his chest and neck. The suspects then fled the scene but were later captured by the local police. There is no information available as to the extent of the private security guards injuries.

Two private security guards in Alaska have been injured, one critically. It all started in the evening hours on Thursday when a woman had called the police to report that her boyfriend had attacked her and left their home on foot. After the police spoke with the woman they issued a warrant for the man and started looking for him. The man had walked to a nearby hotel and was trying to check into a room when he became angry at the hotel clerk and started screaming at her. One of the private security guards for the hotel came running when he heard all the noise the man was making. Once the private security guard reached the suspect and asked him to calm down the suspect just started punching the security guard in the face, knocking him to the ground and he continued to punch the private security guard until another private security guard come over to help his fellow security officer. A fight started now between the security guard and the suspect and the private security guard had his arm broken in the fight. The suspect was able to flee the hotel but police located him a short time later and arrested him. Both private security guards were taken to the hospital. The first private security guard is in critical condition with multiple face fractures. The other private security guard was later released.

March 1, 2014: A private security guard in Ohio was threatened by a shoplifter. The private security guard was working inside a grocery store when he saw a man trying to steal some grocery items. When the private security guard approached the suspect outside of the store the man pulled out a stun gun and threatened to use it on the private security guard. The suspect then ran from the scene. The private security guard was not injured.

A private security guard in England is in the hospital. The private security guard was patrolling through a shopping center and had been attack by a man. The private security guard suffered serious head injuries. There is not much information as to how the private security guard was injured and what exactly has occurred between the suspect and the private security guard.

A private security guard in England was robbed. The private security guard had just left a store where the security guard had picked up a bag of cash. When the private security guard was putting the money into his security vehicle and masked man approached him and stole the bag of money. The suspect was captured later that day and is in jail. The private security guard was shaken by the incident but was not injured.

In Alabama a mother is charged with reckless murder in the death of her child. Alabama police and firefighters had responded to a one-car accident on Friday. When they arrived they found the mother just standing outside of her car which was on fire. What the mother did not tell them was that her child was inside the vehicle. Firefighters found the baby inside once they got the fire out. Alabama police are not saying why they decided to press the charges. The mother is currently in jail.

A private security guard in Oklahoma tried to help a woman. The private security guard was patrolling the area when he saw the woman who had been hit by a car as she was trying to cross the street to get to the grocery store. When the private security guard reached the woman she was still breathing and he tried to assist her but she did not survive her injuries. Numerous people were there also and one tried to stop the driver of the vehicle who hit her but was not able to. That is when the private security guard realized they may have video surveillance at the grocery store that should have captured the hit and run. The private security guard was correct the whole thing was caught on surveillance and local police are searching for the driver.

Private security guards in Texas had to chase down an ambulance. The private security guards were patrolling in their security vehicle a local hospital parking lot. The suspect who had been brought to the hospital's emergency room all of a sudden just jumped off the stretcher and ran out the door and got into the ambulance. the vehicles are required to running so staff can immediately use them but they have a remote control lock on them. This control lock malfunctioned on this ambulance and that is how the suspect was able to drive away in it. The private security guards saw the suspect driving the ambulance and realized he was not an employee. The private security guards followed the suspect who stopped the ambulance after driving four blocks. The private security guards contacted the police and the suspect was taken back to the hospital where he will undergo a psychiatric evaluation. The private security guards were never in any danger.

A home evasion in Franklin led to a police chase into south Nashville. The victim was just getting out of his shower and was shocked by the suspect who had a gun pointed at him. The victim was tied up and the suspects stole guns, a television and other items from his Franklin home. They left the home without injuring the man. Franklin police saw the get away vehicle and started chasing the suspects. The chase ended in south Nashville after the driver crashed the vehicle into a fence outside of an apartment complex on Paragon Mills Road. Five suspects got out of the vehicle and started running, police were able to arrest four of the suspects and are still searching for the fifth suspect. The stolen items were all found still in the vehicle. Police believe the Franklin home was targeted but that the suspects and the homeowner did not know each other.
